Unorganized was the first impression and it didn’t stop there after I stopped in for lunch. I really had a taste for their soup, salad and breadsticks so I waited the 15-20 minutes for them to open. Disappointment from there. We were seated and no one knew who was serving our table. Once they figured that out the server spoke on things being unorganized and other staff not knowing what they were doing. We ordered our food I settled on fettuccine alfredo with extra sauce and broccoli choosing to have salad with it. When the salad was brought out our server stated that she could not complete this salad because they did not have any onions prepared. I went to open my silverware and it almost made me vomit because after unrolling it once I noticed it was filled with something white maybe lint maybe 🤔 I was provided a new set of silverware and I was able to open it all the way as the napkin seemed cleaned just to find one of the forks were dirty. When I was served the alfredo she had originally forgot the extra sauce and the broccoli was way over cooked really mushy. I asked if it could be remade. In waiting for it to be remade there was a table next to us with a few older individuals and the man had asked to be moved because they were really cold. The response was they were served their salad at this same table he requested to be moved from. In receiving my remade order I took a couple of bites and though the broccoli wasn’t as mushy the sauce was extremely bland and the top was a layer of butter. I’m not sure how they make their sauce but it seemed to have a taste of a rue not fully done with way too much butter used. This was NOT the same sauce that I had a few weeks prior. I should’ve just went for the soup?😔 I was over it so I pulled up my check to pay and get out of there but noticed they were charging me for two orders of the alfredo. I spoke to the server and she said it was an error and she would have it fixed. Once the second alfedo was removed and me not going to eat the remade alfredo because of issues previously mentioned I just paid for the two lunches we did order so we could leave. Very, very, very disappointed as Olive Garden is one of my favorite places but would NOT EVER recommend this location on Westown Pkwy in...
Read moreLocation was clean and we seated quickly, server was doing his best with what he had. We got a bowl of salad that the food prep crew had not put any ingredients other than lettuce, two peppers and one black olive in, we told the server there was no dressing on the salad and he brought out a new bowl of salad with dressing and croutons and the other ingredients that were missing in the first one. I do assume he was still pretty new due to not knowing the salad ingredients weren't there as well as the other waiters colliding into him while they had been carrying full trays of food/dirty bussed dishes/absolutely nothing(yes more than one other person ran into him and it happened tohimmore than a couple times) while we were seated in a booth next to the entry/exit pathway opening between two rooms, our server was attending us and not walking around to be in anyone's way. There were maybe 4-5 other tables seated in the same room as our table so nothing busy to cause high traffic jams for the waiting crew. The food ordered once we got to the table was all good and our waiter was attentive with our table of two's needs. I took away one star because it seemed like the rest Of the wait staff was not exactly rude or negative to our waiter(who was very soft spoken and almost seemed shy or intimidated by other staff who were more confident about what they were doing or going), but more along the lines of completely indifferent to his complete existence as both a co-worker as well as physically in the restaraunt. I've worked in restaurants with the multiple wait staff during dinner rush, and there's almost a dance/flow to learn about moving when you're trying to hurry around the other people also in a hurry and it takes a while with some extra awareness of those who already know it for the ones still new to it. It was less the smooth restaurant ballet and more like food truck mosh pit. I really felt sorry for our waiter, and wouldn't blame him for quitting in his next...
Read moreThe host who seated us was very stoic. She was polite but did not seem cheerful. When asking how many kid's menus we wanted, she seemed confused when we said "One." We said 1, she replied "Two?" We responded, 1 please. She said, two. So I jokingly said, "make it three" since it didn't seem to matter what we said. But we immediately corrected it and said "Only 1 children's menu, please." So, she gave us 3. But she wasn't really very communicative. Our server was really kind and fast. But some things were off. My wife's first glass of water didn't taste right. The server said she might have hit the wrong button on the dispenser gun at first and got something else in it. That's not a good thing to hear. If it actually happened, please just dump the water out, get a new glass, and start over. No harm, no foul. But don't bring it to the table. If it makes it to the table, just bring a replacement. Don't even suggest you dosed the customer with an unknown substance. My Coke tasted funny, too; almost like diet. But not bad enough to send it back. Still, 2 drinks out of 5 we're off. The area of the restaurant we were seated in seemed like some elevated overflow area. It didn't look like any Olive Garden I've ever been in. There wasn't really any ambience. Just a rectangular area with tables in the front of the restaurant by the bar and up three stairs for some reason. The table we sat at, first one up the stairs and to the right, was caulked to the wall but coming off. It had one very narrow table leg and was very wobbly. I was a little afraid it was going to come off the wall or collapse. Still, our food orders were right, our server was very nice and seemed happy, and she was fairly quick with everything. It seemed like she was the only server working. I just want the owner or manager to know what it was like so they can make repairs or train as needed. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but it could be...
