We were enjoying the parks so much that we decided to stay an extra night in Gardiner at Yellowstone Tipis, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we made! For the first time, I was grateful for my 4 AM wake-up call. The night sky, illuminated by a full moon and countless stars, was absolutely breathtaking. We spent an hour outside, mesmerized by the beauty of it all, with elk calls echoing in the distance. The tipi itself was perfect. We stayed in late September when the temperatures dipped into the low forties at night, but the heated beds made all the difference. I kept my side of the bed off while my husband turned his all the way up, giving us the flexibility to customize our comfort. The electric heater kept the space cozy without ever feeling too cold. There was also a well-placed power strip for charging devices or plugging in a CPAP or other medical equipment. The bathroom is just a short walk away, well-lit, and very warm—no need for a flashlight thanks to the lit pathways. There’s also a lovely seating area both inside and outside the tipi for relaxing. But the real highlight of our stay was the incredible managers. They were so kind, friendly, and accommodating—we felt like we made lifelong friends. It was a bit sad to leave, but we’ll absolutely be back for a longer stay next time.

From making the reservations to the stay to leaving we had an excellent experience at Yellowstone Tipis! Customer service, cleanliness and the overall experience was a 10/10. Holly at check in was wonderful and full of useful tips for the area. She was great with our 4 year old too. Sarah the owner is great to work with and also an excellent resource for all things Yellowstone and the surrounding area like rafting and horseback riding. She and Holly are real gems. We brought our 4 year old and spent a relaxing evening by the fire chatting with other guests enjoying the view. They even have board games to play! Our Tipi was so well thought out and nicely appointed. The grounds are beautiful and tucked away with wonderful views but still within walking distance of Gardiner. They didn't miss a detail planning any of their spaces. You get assigned your own bathroom too so you don't have to share and a nice continental breakfast in the morning We will be back! Also, don't skip the Follow Yer Nose BBQ food truck at the new Sinclair. Delicous! Thank you, Sarah and Patrik for sharing your wonderful slice of paradise.

Saved my life. Holly, Patrick, and all the staff at Yellowstone Tipis displayed the upmost hospitality as we experienced the flooding crisis which isolated Gardiner. We were welcomed to stay even though the facility was flooded due to record rainfall. Not only were we provided a refund but welcomed to seek shelter in the amazing lodge area for the additional two days we were stranded. Holly and her staff provided immaculate, clean, and modern facilities for showering and meal preparation. The wildlife in the area, Wi-Fi, and company kept us entertained throughout the stay making a worst case scenario still feel like a vacation. Even though flooded, I was invited to check out the tipis which were incredible, definitely worth a second trip. I can’t describe how much I owe to Yellowstone Tipis, it’s owner, and staff. A true gem in Gardiner, worth a trip on its own. Thank you for everything Patrick, Holly, and staff can’t wait to see you again!

Stayed a few days/nights glamping in a tipi. It was an experience like none before. Highly recommend Yellowstone TIpis. Could walk to the north entrance of Yellowstone in less than ten minutes. By car, it's two minutes away. Conveniently located near a gas station, coffee shops, cafes & restaurants as well. Wifi worked great too. The relaxing Yellowstone Hot Springs was ten minutes away by car in the other direction, which I went to as many times as I could.

Had our own bathroom with shower, which was nice because I could leave all of my toiletries in there. There's electric outlets in the tipi & bathrooms. The tipi had plenty of space, as well as a heater, fan, dresser for my clothes & a nice couch. It's the cleanest camping experience I've ever had because the tipi itself was on stone ground. Equipped with a cool-looking eagle rain catcher atop the center of the tipi. Loved looking up at that thing. Got the best sleep with super comfy bed & bedding. Natural light in the morning & waking up to the beautiful view of the horses was one of the highlights of the stay. Views of the incredible backdrop everywhere you look & the night sky fully lit up were stunning.

Felt totally safe with the gate surrounding the entire perimeter. Everything is top of the line and brand new at this place. Met the very nice owners & took a tour of the lodge. The inn keeper was extremely hospitable & answered all of our questions. The lobby has games & coffee, which is an added bonus. The decor of the lobby, lodge and tipis is outstanding. There's a marvelous deck with an outdoor fireplace. Everything looked nice & the aesthetics were on point. These people spared no expense for luxury accommodations. The towels were really soft too.

Rafting down the Yellowstone River was my favorite part of the vacation. Would definitely stay with Yellowstone Tipis again next time & do it all over again. Worth the $$. This place did not disappoint. Thankful for such a...

My husband and I stayed here while on a cross country road trip. On our trip we stayed at many hotels and airbnbs. Admittedly, we are not great at remembering to write reviews, but we knew we absolutely had to leave a review for Yellowstone Tipis! My husband, myself, and our 7 year old son stayed here for a week and the staff was so amazingly accommodating. A few examples of the above and beyond service:

--Since the north Yellowstone entrance was closed and many were leaving extra early to go to the other entrance, they told us to let them know if we left before breakfast time so they could send us off with some muffins and food --It stormed a lot while we were there and they offered to let us stay in the (much more expensive) cabin for the night if our tipi leaked for any reason, which it didn't due to the great quality --They stayed late to check us into our tipi whenever we got in much later than intended

The tipis and campground itself were also great. The tipis had many temperature control options, such as strong fans to stay cool during the day and a space heater and mattress pads to stay warm at night. The tipis were very spacious and each tipi gets its own dedicated bathroom in the bathhouse building. It was also perfect for working remote due to the air conditioned, wifi enabled, beautiful main lodge. There was plenty of seating and space for all three of us to work/play.

If you're visiting Yellowstone, this place is a no brainer! A great place to stay with friendly staff who will do all they can to help and a perfect mix of modern amenities alongside the...

What a fun experience! New to glamping and the Tipi adventure and after the last days, this is just the beginning. Holly and the entire Yellowstone Tipi Resort staff made sure all our needs and the excellent accommodations exceeded our expectations. The on-line reservations were simple to make and I received email confirmation right away. The grounds were fenced, secure and very well kept and the hammock and lounge chairs were nice. There was comfy seating outside all the tipi’s as well. The Lodge was super nice too. Clean and well equipped. Breakfast is served and was filling. There is a tv lounge room as well as the nicest patio deck with fireplace. A great place to hangout and meet other guests and share Yellowstone Park tips and experiences. Each tipi is assigned a private bathroom. It’s heated and maybe 50’ from our tipi. We could leave our toiletries. Shower was super and all the towels were super soft. Now the Tipi’s….Larger inside than I expected. We had a king size bed that has to rate as one of the top three most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. Add the his & hers mattress pad heaters and it could not have been better. The crisp fresh air, the warmth and softness of bedding and pillows allowed the best sleep. Looking for a memory? Looking for comfort and excellent accommodations while visiting Yellowstone National Park? Yellowstone Tipi Resort delivers in all areas. The location is quiet yet close to everything. Highly recommend!
