I stayed here for 30 days and I feel this place deserves an overall positive review. It should be 5 stars but there are some negatives that I hope can be addressed and make it a 5 star review. To start, the room was great, comfortable, and had all appliances needed to live for a month - stove top, sink, a dishwasher, microwave, and full-sized refrigerator. There were pots, pans, forks, everything needed to cook too. My room had 2 queen beds which were large and comfy. The TV's in the living area and in the bedrooms, which the rooms were separated by a closing door, were large and not tiny like you see hotel rooms have nowadays. The were not smart TV's however so you couldn't easily connect your phone for apple play. Also, the channel selections for the TV's were difficult to go through as there was no main guide to see what was on, you just had to scroll through each channel until you found one you liked. The room I was in had a bible which I did appreciate. There was no safe in my room. The bathroom on the 4th floor had very good water pressure and had 4 towels, and 2 hand and face towels. There were large dispensers in the shower for shampoo and body lotion, but I still brought my own. The one negative about the shower/water situation was that it would take a good few minutes for the water temperature to get to where you wanted and it didn't adjust very well. It was either really hot, lukewarm, or cold, it was difficult sometimes to find the happy medium. One very positive experience I had was that almost every day they would come and service my room, remake the bed, and replace the towels, take the trash, etc. Another great experience I had was when my trucks battery died because I left my lights on overnight and the worker gave me some jumper cables to hook up to their car so I was good and set for the day which I truly appreciated! Every morning they had breakfast which seemed to be a good selection but I never ate any. The fruit that I did get sometimes wasn't the freshest but it was still decent. They had a pool but it was closed for work I believe. Not the negatives.. There is very little parking and even some nights I had to park in another hotels parking lot because all the spots were filled here. This actually upset me a lot because I am paying for a place and obviously I need to park. Multiple times this happened which is simply annoying. The second negative thing is laundry. It is $3.00 to wash and $3.00 to dry your clothes. PLUS you have to buy your own detergent, but don't buy it from them as it is I think $5 or $7 for their one/two use pack. Furthermore, the washer is alright, but the dryer doesn't even dry your clothes even on the high heat setting. I had to dry it 2 times to dry my clothes. This isn't much if you only wash/dry once during your stay, but as someone who was here for a month it got to be a bit much and annoying. 6 dollars to wash and dry clothes is outrageous especially when you have to dry twice so it is $9.00 to do so. It only takes quarters too or you can download an app to use apple pay or credit card but if you only load what is needed to your phone/to the app you then have to pay an additionally .25c-.50c charge for the loading fee. Just ridiculous to me. The third and final negative was that throughout my stay I was not very needy, told the people servicing my room multiple times I didn't need service and that I just would request a couple towels. However I requested one time for a full cleaning of the room where they are supposed to change the sheets, supposedly, and do everything else they do. I asked for this as I had a friend flying in from Hawaii who was staying with me for a few days and I wanted the room to be fresh and beds have clean sheets. The sheets on the beds were not changed as they both had distinct stain/markings on them which were still there the whole time and after the deep clean. They are pet-friendly so beware of barking animals. Overall my experience here was solid but there are some things I hope they can see/address. I would recommend others...

Okay so I gave four stars, I would have given two-and-a-half to three stars if it had not been for the staff. I am terrible with names so I will just described the staffs position when referring to them except for one number. We arrived at the hotel in the early evening and the gentleman who created us did so with perfect professionalism and perfect friendliness. He was attentive to any needs and me checking in a complete Breeze. During my time there I came into contact with this gentleman on multiple occasions and everytime I was greeted in the same manner. It was very refreshing to have someone who kept our needs in their mind such as my wife needing to get her scooter through doors. As far as the two gentlemen that or in charge of breakfast oh, they were awesome. The food was always hot, the area was impeccably cleaned and stocked with everything we needed. When they saw that I need to bring food back to our room they were, without asking I might add, ready with a tray and other things I might need. They were both friendly and extremely helpful. The cleaning staff was perfect. Have to say I did not even notice them unless they sad good morning or asked how I was enjoying my stay along with what I found to be the question every staff member asked which is, "...is there anything I can do for you oh, anything you need?" The last member of the staff, who I do remember her name do to it also being one of my daughters stuffed animals names when she was younger, is Kate. She was there multiple times and was also there when I checked out. I was able to relay all issues to her and she took the time to listen and was attentive to all my concerns. It is one thing when a staff member asks how was everything but it is far different when you can see that they really care about the answer oh, and Kate definitely cares. I have to say, and this is to the general manager that your staff deserve some serious praise, and probably a raise too😉 okay now to the problems. Number one it seems like Hilton has given up on the higher-than-expected amenities when it comes to their hotels. This is not the first Hilton that I've stayed with and it is only recently that we are experiencing less than desirable stay. The Wi-Fi sucks. And this is an issue because my family and I needed to access the internet and our phone service for not just my work but also our vacation. Hotels just the same as hospitals have notoriously bad service for almost everybody who uses a phone or computer. We had to use our regular service because the Hilton Wi-Fi was unreliable. Although the complimentary breakfast was always well stocked, hot, and clean , it wasn't very good and the variety was lacking. Again I think this is more a problem with Hilton than this location. Some fresh fruit, some more healthy choices, would probably go a long way. Not to mention having coffee available 24/7 wo We rented a sweet for our stay which was 4 days with children. I really expected the rum to be better stocked with kitchen utensils. But of course knowing we were going to a Hilton we brought our own just in case. I still had to go out and pick up a few things that we failed to bring but it should have had more from the get-go. The last thing is that we have been Hilton Rewards members from the early 2000s and every time we go to a Hilton we need to re-sign up. It's frustrating to know that if this little issue was not the case that we would be offered rewards on the amount of times we've stayed within the Hilton franchise. I feel like we're being taken advantage of.
So to Hilton you need to work harder to live up to your name and prior greatness.
To the staff at this location,You all were awesome! Thank you very much for making our stay...
Read moreSo, I was all prepared to write a 5 star review for this hotel, but our check out process left a 3 star taste in our mouth instead. We stayed one night on our way to Hampton. Staff was super friendly and the hotel exterior and lobby and all interior areas were incredibly clean. Our room was amazing. Spacious, updated, clean, smelled great. Bathrooms were spotless. We stay at a lot of hotels and I’m very picky about cleanliness. I looked for negative things to say about this room. The only one I could come up with was that the shower curtain was hung high which made it come out of the tub a lot when showering. Also the alarm clock alarm went off at 6am despite me not setting it. If that’s the worse I get, I’m great with that. The beds were comfy and pillows and bedding were clean. This is all during COVID times and the amount of comfort we felt in this clean room was refreshing. Being that our day didn’t start until later, we asked for a late check out. We were told they were busy the next day, but could give us an 11:30 check out. We were grateful for that and had a nice, quiet and relaxing night. Here’s where the 2 stars get deducted. At 10:57 while we were still getting ready and packing things up, housekeeping was at our door. They never knocked. Just tried the lock. They moved on. We simply thought they must’ve realized we were a late check out and moved on. Nope. They tried again. I was about to call the front desk when my husband said we were ready to go anyway and it was 11:28 so it was time to leave. As we were opening the door, a man in a suit was at our door knocking loudly. He said he was with the housekeeping crew. My husband told him we were leaving and he said check out was 11. We told him we had arranged an 11:30 check out. He informed us that our late check out was never put into the system and no note was made. We even gave the staff member’s name who arranged it for us. We told him we were leaving now though so they were welcome to come in. At this point he started walking with us to the elevator. We felt like we had done something wrong and were being escorted out. It wasn’t until my husband joked about the rule of being 6 feet apart that he backed off. Then he immediately went to our room that we had just left and walked in. Unfortunately that being the very last thing that happened to us on our way out left a sour taste in our mouth. I don’t get offended easily at all, but I personally felt as if we were being called liars. The extra step of walking us to the elevator when he was clearly not going to another floor (made evident when he went back to our room) was adding to the insult. Would we stay here again? Hmmm. Probably so as the rest of the staff we encountered was amazingly nice and it was clean. Had our late check out been noted, this would easily be a 5 star review about how amazing this hotel is. If we do decide to stay again we will either not request a late check out or ask for proof it was noted so we don’t face feeling like...
