So normally I dont like to leave a 1 star review. However, tonight was absolutely horrid. To start, there was a problem with getting our drinks. I think we had to repeat our drinks to our waiter at least 5 times. I understand there is a language barrier and I am trying my best to be reasonable in that sense, and after we thought we had the drink issue resolved, he still brought out a drink we didn't order. The only reason I paid for it was because I drank it out of frustration. Then came ordering the food. We first started with a large queso dip, but was brought a regular size. Then the real problem came. So we ordered our food. There seemed to be no problems. After a reasonable 20 minutes we were brought our food. Then the problems came. To start off, my order was misunderstood. I ordered pork belly street tacos with no onions. I instead recieved portobello tacos. Reasonable mistake. However what isn't reasonable is waiting another almost 40 minutes for my corrected dish to come out. Also, one of the orders was supposed to have rice and beans, and came out with neither. We asked our server for the rice and beans it was supposed to have, and we only got rice. At that point my frustration just told me to not worry about it. After I quickly ate my tacos that finally came out almost 40 minutes later 5han everyone else's, we asked for the check and a to-go box. We recieved the check with no box. The boxes were on the shelf behind my wife and I 's head. So we grabbed our own boxes and began to pack our food when our waiter came around and asked if everything was OK. My wife, who was now past the point of understand, remarked on how we had to grab our own boxes, to which the waiter replied "Ok". It took everything in me not to become very unprofessional. We left and will never return to this location. Honestly I would give 0 stars if possible, however thats bot an option. Never once did a manager come to see how to resolve a problem or if there was even a problem, and our waiter started to get rude with my wife toward the end as if we were the ones causing the problem. Not only will I never return, but I will make sure my many friends never come here. The absolute worst service I've ever had in my 30 years. Also, I normally do not name drop, however if you actually read this and care about your customers, you need to know that the server in question tonight who caused our problems...

I've had dinner there before, the food and atmosphere was amazing. A few days later I decided to order something for pickup. I specifically told them over the phone not to put onions, tomatoes or any vegetables in my food because I was allergic to them. When I got there, picked up and paid for my food but i got home and noticed there where onions and tomatoes inside. I looked at the receipt and it stated no onions, tomatoes or vegetables. I called the store to let them know about this incident. The person that picked up the phone was very sincere and apologized for the mistake, he told me to return and they would make me another meal without onions and tomatoes, i told him it was too late for me to return that night and i lived too far out. He told me not to worry and to come the following day, i agreed. When i return the next day i spoke to a manager named Jose about the incident he told me that he couldnt replace the meal for me because i didn't bring the previous meal i originally ordered . I showed him a picture of the old meal with onions and tomatoes and also showed him the receipt that specifically showed i requested for no onions and tomatoes. Instead of being apologetic like the previous person i spoke to the day before, this manger jose refused to replace my meal because i told him i discarded the old meal and dont have it with me. I was running late for work and He literally was going back and forth with me for a few minutes that other customers behind me that overheard the issue were telling him to just comp the meal for me due to the error of the restaurant. When I realized i was going to be late for work and I was wasting my time talking to this manager Jose, I simple just paid for the meal and promise myself not to return to this establishment because of this manager that doesn't know how to defuse an issue that was caused by the restaurant. I honestly still have nothing bad to say about the restaurant but this bad apple of a manager Jose left a bad taste in my mouth, he needs to be retrained on how to interact with customers. I normally never write reviews but I promised to write a feedback on this one experience and hopefully someone from the corporate office can investigate...

I'm a longtime local, this was my go-to place for Mexican when they first opened several years ago. Sadly, like many local eateries do, they fall off and start relying on the tourist trade, cutting food quality, upping prices, reducing menu selections, etc. Tonight I had the Cowboy Combo 2 ground beef enchiladas dressed in different sauces, and a ground beef taco. Basic Mexican comfort food to my palate. If I ever return, I will not order anything made with their ground beef??? They are obviously using some type of extender, my guess is the same ground beans in the refried. It was tasteless and had the consistency of something squeezed from a tube. Taco bell meat with sauce to cover it up and that's being kind. I was glad the lettuce was served on the side of the taco as it was wilted, watery, and a touch on the brown side. On the plus side, the salsa is still the best in town although I had to ask for chips even after I placed my drink and entree orders. They must roast the peppers and/or tomatoes as it has a smoky taste that is a nice offset to the fresh veg and cilantro. The hand poured premium Margarita also was as good as I remember. Last thing I didn't appreciate was when I got my check, a 2.5 percent fee was added just to accept my credit card payment. Feel bad about having to point out what this place has become but hopefully this will nake for some positive...
