Rocket Fizz in Wilmington is such a fun little spot to check out! 🍭 Even though I’m not a huge fan of sweets myself, I really enjoyed browsing through their massive selection of candy, sodas, and nostalgic treats. The store has a playful, colorful vibe that makes you feel like a kid again, with shelves packed full of unique finds from classic candies to quirky novelty items. I ended up picking up two bottles of root beer 🍺, and both were surprisingly delicious—definitely worth the try! What really stood out, though, was the staff. The lady working that day was not only welcoming but also funny, which made the experience even better. The variety of candies and sodas was amazing but we bought saltwater taffy, sold individually in bins and almost every bin had pieces that were stuck together due to the heat and humidity. I had to refrigerate mine at home to be able to unwrap them without half of the candy sticking to the wrapping and still lost some. Something needs to be done about the storage and display as there is bound to be a tremendous amount of waste. There were so many options to chose from in this candy store, that I ended up staying over 45 mins browsing around. 100% sure I didn't see everything in there. Not only does the store have an amazing selection of candy it also offers up super cute drinks that have wacky mixes and some peculiar names. For example Cat Pittle was one of my favorites. Lol.
