Old City — Hotel in Bukhara City

Very lovely and comfortable place , on the edge of the old city, perfectly and easily reachable by taxi or buses. I chose this place for the proximity to the centre and the convenience of price, you can find even cheaper but the services here are the right equilibrium. The dimension of the structure claim the fact this can be a busy place, being in august it was low season and everything was around me: the breakfast was rich and fresh, the family managing the structure was full of attentions. The room Was wide (for one) and clean, a little old the bathroom but basin and shower with no signs of being ruined or scratched. Lovely the English speaking owner which whom I spoke several hours before go to bed about culture of his a country and my dear Italy. This is a very clean hotel with helpful staff and smallish but light and comfortable rooms. The inner courtyard with its plants and rooms leading off it is picturesque and is a modern reference to the old caravanserais . I was not bothered by people relaxing around tables on the raised, covered, balustraded end of this, but my room although on the ground floor opened onto the other end. Breakfasts were good. The location was fine, at the end of the narrow lanes leading into the very centre of Bukhara (5 mins.) but near to the wide leafy road leading to the more distant big bazar. I would happily...

I stayed with a group in this hotel. During our stay many of us got our money stolen from the room. The thief only took some money, not all, so maybe even more people lost some money but did not notice it. When we reported this to the hotel owner, he simply accused us of not taking good care of our money. This is partly true since there is a safety box in the room an I did not use it but left the money in my (closed) bag.
