Polvonnazir Guest House — Hotel in Khiva

Very early one Saturday morning, two travel-weary visitors were greeted with open arms and shown to a spare room where we were invited to freshen up, leave our bags and have a wander. Our rooms were ready before the official check-in time.

That was just the start of the tremendous hospitality you receive at the Polvonnazir Guesthouse.

There are two twin bed rooms and one single.  Each room has a clean, practical bathroom.

The icing on the cake comes at breakfast time. Your table is adorned with a selection of sweet and savoury homemade goodies and fruits (fresh and dried). As if that wasn’t enough, the view from the breakfast terrace is magnificent.

The hostess and her family are keen to make sure that your stay is enjoyable.

Location is perfect! The guest house is close to everything in the center of Khiva. The alley between Pahlaven Mahmoud Mausoleum and Islam Khoja Minerat is right at the corner. Location is so convenient that you can just walk a few steps early in the morning, take some nice photos without crowds, and go back to sleep immediately.

There’s also a terrace on the first floor which gives you an amazing view of Islam Khoja Minerat.

The host is extremely friendly and she owns a souvenir shop right in front of the guest house.

Last but the least, room is clean and well decorated. I will definitely recommend this...

The staff are exceptionally welcoming and kind, and made me feel at home during my stay.
