ARK SAMARKAND — Hotel in Samarkand City

We made a reservation through booking.|When we arrived we faced an awful situation. |The place wasn't like the photos that we saw on booking.|There was mold and dust everywhere.|The bathroom wasn't clean, it was almost disgusting!|We immediately informed the owners who told us that if we don't like the place we have to leave.|Completely impolite, rude and unprofessional!!!!!|We didn't even use the room and immediately searched for an other place!||This place needs renovation immediately and of course when somebody has to handle with people he has to be more respectful. ||DON'T choose this place if you don't want to ruin...

Probably the best thing about Hotel Ark is the location. It's located just across from Registan square, which is most beautiful part of Samarkand. It seems to be a family run hotel and it seems to be a very old building converted to a hotel. The rooms are fine though the bed was very hard and does not feel very comfortable. The breakfast is served and is not a buffet and I believe there is room for improvement...

The Buranov family who own this place are lovely. Very helpful, and they know their city inside out.||||Location is unbeatable.
