Cafe Bon! — Restaurant in Tashkent

Visited this place during a tourist trip and unfortunately were disappointed with the level of service. The waiter named Zhenya showed a complete lack of professionalism: the order was taken carelessly, some dishes were mixed up, and his reaction to our comments was cold and irritated.

For tourists expecting hospitality and basic customer service, this kind of experience leaves a negative impression not only of the restaurant but of the local service culture in general. Awful service from Lola. She didn't greet us when we entered and didn't even guide us to our table. She had such a rude expression the whole time and pointed with her fingers as if we were stray dogs. Lola definitely shouldn't be working in customer service! Unfortunately, the food wasn't much better. The chicken fricassee was hard and had a strange taste. I suspect some of the ingredients had probably gone bad. This pretend to be- French café, as many other cafe-restaurants in this city, need to look after customer satisfaction. I found a VERY poor practice to charge your customers over a nip of butter when they are giving you business and consuming a full meal.

Food industry is about service. Many things to learn apply from Western standards ; ).

The Omelette I order was dry, coffee was ok. My waiter made a difference and was the only plus in this visit. I haven’t been to a great coffee shop in this city, yet. Hope someone recommends a good one...
