3 star hotel🤔 I wonder based on what standards. Maybe in their dreams. Unfortunately I've booked for 7 nights. Which was 7 nights too long . On my day of arrival I got handed a key card. Went up to the 5th floor only to be denied entry because the lock wouldn't respond. It was dead. Guess changing batteries is hard work. Went back down and got handed a new key card with a key for a different room. And surprise, surprise also that lock wouldn't make a beep and so I had to use the key. The mattress is worn out and belongs in the garbage. It's one of those spring mattresses where the most frequent parts start to sink. So the whole thing is uneven and I could even feel the springs through the fabric pushing against my ribcage. Needless to say that I did not sleep well. On top of that crappy mattress there are no black out curtains. So after 2 nights with lack of sleep accumulating, it was impossible to get some shut eye during the day because it was just too bright. And then when night falls, the yellow bright light of the opposite building lit up the room. On the 3rd day, I've requested for my room to be cleaned, but nothing happened. Had to ask again the following day and finally someone showed up. The next day while resting during the day, someone came to my door, pushing the doorbell continuously while simultaneously knocking on the door as if the whole building was on fire. Got up, got dressed and opened the door only to find the cleaning lady in front of the door asking if I would like to have my room cleaned, which I politely refused. The receptionists don't speak English, the cleaning staff doesn't either and all in all I can not recommend staying at this place. There's plenty of hotels in this area and you should do yourself a favor and book only for 1 night to check out the place first.

Hotel is located near the beach, it's room was clean and it's good size for couple. Hotel staff were very friendly & willing to help, but there is a language barrier. There is a laundry shop just next door, reception will handle it for you. There is parking for motorcycle. Many seafood restaurants nearby. There are construction work nearby, but it wasn't a concern for me. It's really value for money. Recommended.

Drinks outside to the right are amazing! See photo of owner with my baby. The hotel is basic and rooms are small. Clean enough. Laundry is cheap 30k/kg. Old spring bed was uncomfortable. Staff are nice but spoke basic English. There were a number of miscommunications. The 3 stars are for the small, uncomfortable room, and for having to go find half of our laundry.

Worst hotel I have been in Da Nang, and the one that showed me in full light how dishonest, cheating and manipulate, hotel businesses are in Vietnam. Instead of reinvesting their earnings in keeping their businesses clean and tidy to forge a reputation, they leave them to utter abandonment and make with the earnings who knows what. Very irresponsible, but they don't give a flying monkey because once the negative reviews build up, they change the name of the hotel, pay Agoda for a boost 😉, and start over with their scam scheme.

I ended here because of the high star rating and price I found in Agoda. It is obvious that Agoda receives money to falsely rank up these kind of places, so don't trust Agoda either and do a check in person before you move. Still, stakes of being shown a good room that you are never going to get are high.

Anyways, I arrived late from my flight on the first night. When I entered the room, this smell of damp was all around the room. The bedsheets, probably clean, had this pungent smell of damp, as if they stored them in the catacombs of Mordor. The pillows felt like salvaged from a shipwreck, they were like dust, mite's and spores bags waiting to be shaken to release all that microfauna of filth under your head right into your lungs. 🕷️🥵🪲 I didn't dare to unpack my clothes, because the wardrobe smelled of rotting wood, probably home for moth, ants, termites... too obscure to determine. I left the wardrobe closed during my stay, it was safer and healthier this way.

I went downstairs to complain about this situation and... the hotel was mysteriously FULLY BOOKED (the receptionist showed me the computer screen, at least he was honest)

So that night I slept with my own towel on top of the pillows, and still it was hard to breathe. Next morning, the hotel was still fully booked, and they couldn't move me into another room. I then demanded clean sheets and pillows, but I made the mistake of leaving the room before the cleaning staff came to make up my room. When I came back to the room, I had new stuff, true, but stuff from the same corner of hell than the previous bedsheets and pillows!!! 🤬🤬 Besides, the supposedly cleaned floor, kept the same grit and filth that made your feet black after seconds of walking barefoot. I really wonder how they clean the rooms here...

The second night I had to go downstairs to ask for clean sheets. The guy at the reception, a nice chap repeating canned expressions learnt from Gangsta Paradise YouTube videos, opened some fresh sheets that came plastic sealed from some laundry they outsource. Those were PROPERLY CLEAN bedsheets, so I went upstairs to make up the room my self with these new sheets. However, the pillows had no solution, so I asked this guy for extra sheets to make up an improvised pillow 🤪 That night I opened the windows to let the air refreshen the room. After a while, I found it too noisy with all those eventful tourists and hookers going on down the street. What was my surprise that the window's frame was rotten (due to dump? 🤪) and the window I opened couldn't close anymore...

From my third day, I was given another room. This one seemed better, but that rooten damp scent stayed in the background during my whole stay. True that in this room it was leaser, but still a bit uncomfortable.

In all, when I arrived to my next hotel, the smell contrast was so obvious that I had to wash all my clothes, as the damp from this place permeated all the fabrics.

The only positive note was the helpful and shameful, most probably underpaid and aware of working in the lair of Hades staff.

Nice people, horrible place with no possible positive remark. Only sleeping on the street...

My husband and I stayed at this hotel in September. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, especially when trying to find a cab to the airport in the pouring rain. Location is excellent, 5-10 minute walking distance to the beach, local restaurants all around, about a 15 minute walk to Dragon Bridge. We only took a cab to and from the airport aside from that we rented a motorbike from a very nice woman directly across the street from the hotel for 100,000thb ($4.45USD for the whole day). We rode up the coast to the Lady Buddha, Marble Mountain and even down south to Hoi An in one day. ||The room was in good condition but the bed was very hard. Although, we didn't spend a lot of time in the room they had HBO and STAR movies in English. Shower had good water pressure and hot water. We didn't have much of a view (4 floor) but the receptionist recommended for next time to stay higher up. Overall a really good experience and would definitely...
