If you want to completely ruin your stay in Da Nang - this is the place for you. I had arranged a late check-in and was told I could pay by card upon arrival. However, when I got there after 12 hours of travel, no one was at the property. No one answered calls or messages. An hour later, I finally reached the building manager (not the hotel), who contacted a security guard - he showed up demanding cash only, even though I had been assured card payment was possible.
All I wanted was to take a shower and rest, but check-in turned into a long and stressful experience.
The room itself was okay, though the “view” is just a wall. The toilet paper literally falls apart due to humidity (I have no idea where they store it).
But the real gem of this stay was the manager - whom I never met in person. Instead, she bombarded me with WhatsApp messages throughout my stay. Since I couldn’t pay by card, I needed time to withdraw cash from a bank. Meanwhile, she kept pushing me to hurry, completely ignoring my situation.
I initially asked to book two nights, but they made a reservation for three, and when I paid for two, they began arguing that I owed them for the “lost” day - even though it was their mistake.
Throughout the stay, the manager continued messaging me non-stop, clearly treating me like a walking wallet rather than a guest.
Upon check-out, no assistance was offered - just a cleaner who showed up early and started inspecting the room while I was still trying to take my stuff out of the room.
For this price, there are far better places to stay in Da Nang. I strongly do not...
Read moreWas supposed to stay there from October 17-23 but asked if I could check in on the 18th instead. We'll hold the room for you so it's no problem at all they said. We arrived on the 18th at 1:00 PM and had to sit for 30 minutes first to find out that the AC in the room was broken and they needed to fix it (which was a lie as they had given the room to someone else) and it would take 1 hour. We were temporarily moved from the lobby to a room that a guest had just checked out of and without cleaning. An hour later we got our room and we were greeted by a disgusting sight. Dirty sheets and bed, dirty plates, a used face mask on the table, dirty toilet paper and towels. The receptionist was called and she called a cleaner who started cleaning in front of us. The only thing she did was change the sheets. Everything else that was dirty was left as before, she didn't even remove the mask. We refused to stay and they first offered us 50% of the money and 10 minutes later offered 35% of the money instead. We left the hotel in anger and had to book...
Read moreThe hotel is nice, some rooms have HUGE windows. You should ask if one of those are available if are traveling solo or with a partner.
The first night I stayed in a 3 person room (which are still very nice rooms) since the big window rooms weren’t available. After two nights in the 3 person room, I moved to a room with huge windows (ceiling to floor the entire length of the room).
The manager at the hotel is extremely kind and will take the time to understand your needs. You can stay here a couple nights or you can stay long term, they will accommodate however you choose.
Any time I had a small issue during my 3 week stay, they fixed it immediately.
Very reasonable price and only one block off the beach.
Fast internet: often around 50mbps, but ranges...
