I loved this place - will come back here! I booked 20 nights in the TMS hotel and I loved everyone of them.
It starts with a very warm welcome where you're greeted with a friendly smile, a refreshing cocktail and a Hawaiian like flower necklace. When they asked me if they could take my photo I was a bit hesitant, but when they gave me the printed photo in a lovely welcome frame I was sold.
My room was as hoped. Large, huge bed, huge bathroom with super nice walk-in shower with a big rain shower-head. I had booked a room with city view and that's what I got. I stayed at the 23rd floor and the views were fantastic, I had a nice balcony with seating options and it was simply perfect. What I also loved is the AC which was very sensitive, but in a good way. You could really fine tune the room temp by changing it only 1'C degree up or down.
My room was also very quiet and when the sliding door the balcony is closed you shut out 99% of the outside noises.
I didn't spend much time on the rooftop even though it is a lovely terrace with a good restaurant (I ate here once). The rooftop infinity pool is very relaxed, but it only offers a few beach beds so if you want to spend some time there you have to be early. I couldn't care less as right in front of the hotel there's a long-stretched white sandy beach where you can enjoy the sun and sea in a perfect way. For only EUR 1,35 you can rent a bed for the day and get some refreshments too. The beach wasn't crowded when I stayed there and there's a lot of space if you want to have some more space. But again, this beach is plenty big and you will never feel crowded.
What else? Well to my opinion the most important was the genuine feel of the hospitality in TMS hotel. Each and every team member was fantastic and incredibly service oriented and friendly. A big shout out and THANK YOU to Thanh Thào working in the small coffee corner in the lobby. She and Cam Ly (she is leaving the hotel unfortunately) were great, they made the most delicious coffees, they had a great sense of humor and they were lovely each and everytime I had a coffee and yoghurt with fruits there.
I used both the Spa and the gym. The gym mostly for running and the treadmill in there was great. Sometimes in hotels they "slip" due to poor maintenance, but this treadmill by Life Fitness worked perfectly. There's plenty of other equipment and weights to pump yourself before going to the beach ;).
The Spa was also impressive and very professional. They had a buy 2 get 3 offer which I made us off. I had 3 types of massage (Swedish, Hot Stones and Bamboo) and they all lasted 90 min... It was perfect and so was the entire welcoming by the staff working there.
As mentioned the location of the hotel is perfect. Right at the beach side and within walking distance there's dozens if not hundreds of possibilities to eat out with all kinds of cuisines. There are enough small supermarkets around as well so you never have to go far to get something. And if you do need a shopping mall or something else then it's so easy and cheap to book a grab car.
Through the hotel I booked one day of excursion to Lady Buddha and the Golden Bridge in Ba Na Hills. I combined the 2 in a private tour and this cost me only approx EUR 54,- to get a private car with driver for a almost a full day. The price to Golden Bridge is excluded from this.
I think it's clear I loved my stay a TMS Hotel and Da Nang. If I can have a minor minor suggestion then I would love to see a slightly better internet speed on floor level 23 as sometimes it seemed not fast enough to stream a football game. And the other minor suggestion (but maybe I could have done this myself) is to have the mini bar temperature a bit lower. But these are really minor suggestions and definitely no reason for me to not come back to this lovely...
Read moreThis hotel was excellent all throughout our stay and provided top-notch customer service. Hotel is very clean and has amazing view since it is right across from the beach. Front desk staff is professional, speak English well and explained the amenities to us when we checked in, which I like a lot because not every hotel explain amenities to their guests at check-in. Also, we booked 2 rooms for the majority of our stay, but on the last day, 5 of us had a later flight and weren’t leaving until 5 PM, we asked the front desk staff if we could book another room to stay in and hang out until the time we have to go to the airport, (of course we had to pay for those hours) but we asked very last minute (the day before) and although their hotel was booked and super busy, the front desk manager accommodated us by moving things around and fit us in, which we appreciated a lot. My brother needed to find out about parasailing, we asked a receptionist and he advised us what he knew, then offered to call the place and find out more info for us, they even offer beach towel for guests at the front so you don’t need to bring your own or grab one from the room. Bellmen are also very quick and friendly. Room service also deserves a 5-star rating. They clean very well, change bed sheets often and they check on you to see if you need more towels every once in awhile. They did great with our laundry, I took a leap of faith and they did not ruin any of my delicate wash pieces. I saved the best for last, their restaurant department really impressed our family during our stay. We had the pleasure to interacted and worked with several staff and the manager, and it was a pleasant experience. They are very attentive and pay great attention to details, all the while being professional yet very warm and welcoming. They check on us throughout our meals (I know this doesn’t seem much if you are from the U.S cause it’s standard here but this is very hard to come by in Vietnam even at high-end restaurants), they gave us food recommendations and also other places to eat around the city and/or shop at. Overall just very helpful. The chef is also great because I love the food at their restaurant and breakfast buffet. A few of their restaurant staff that we had the pleasure to work with were Huy (the manager), Phuc, Dung, Nhi, Tram, Nguyen, and Xoan.
I would most definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family.
Here are a few cons that I have gathered, nothing major but things that could be improve: The Pool, though is infinity and has an amazing view, it is a bit smaller than I’d like therefore usually is very busy. Kid’s playroom is small and not...

I made a reservation for three nights from July 7th to 10th, 2025. When I emailed the hotel when I made the reservation, I told them that my flight back home was at 1:10 am on the 10th, so I would check out around 11pm on the 9th. Instead of breakfast on the 10th, I would receive a free meal that could be used at the restaurant during my stay. When I actually arrived at the hotel, the receptionist, a female staff member with black hair tied up and glasses (very overbearing and unpleasant), didn't mention anything about free meals at all, so when I showed her the emails we had actually exchanged, she said she would give me a takeaway breakfast, with a look of annoyance. Late at night, before heading to the airport, I told her that I would be given a meal that could be used at the restaurant during my stay, because I didn't want to be given such a takeaway meal, so I showed her the email again, and she gave me a meal coupon that could be used at the restaurant in a bad mood. It was clear that she had sensed that we didn't have English skills and was trying to give us a takeaway meal, which was very unpleasant. When I arrived at the hotel, I was very hungry, so I asked the front desk if I wanted to use the free meal at the restaurant right away. They told me that it takes at least two hours to prepare the meal, so I had to go to the front desk at least two hours in advance and make a reservation there. I had no choice but to give up and go to the front desk that night to make a reservation at the restaurant two hours later. Another male staff member who helped me said that I didn't need a reservation and that I could use it right away, so I should just go to the restaurant and give them the coupon. When I arrived at the restaurant, the meal came out right away, so I couldn't understand why she lied. Furthermore, on the second day of my stay, I had made a reservation at a famous spa with very good reviews, located about 15 minutes by taxi, but there was no response from the spa, so I wanted to check if the reservation was made, so I asked the front desk of the hotel to confirm the reservation, and the same woman with glasses and black hair tied up appeared again. I showed the woman the official website of the spa and asked her if she knew the spa, and she laughed and said she didn't know any spa, so I thought, "No problem," and gave up. I had no complaints about the hotel facilities or the other staff, but the female staff member's attitude was so bad that it turned my trip into a very...
