Wok Hei: A Restaurant that Hits the Spot! I just gotta tell you about this awesome Chinese joint I found called Wok Hei. The food is SO good! My stomach's still doing happy flips just thinking about it.
Super Convenient: First off, it's located right in An Thuong. Perfect for grabbing a bite after work or shopping. No need to go on a mission just to find good food.
Friendly Faces: The second I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome. No bad vibes here, just friendly smiles and helpful staff ready to answer your questions about the menu. They will even gave you some tips on what to order.
Passionate Eats: You can tell the owner takes real pride in his food. He was there, chatting with customers and making sure everything was running smoothly. And let me tell you, it shows! The ingredients are fresh, the portions are generous, and the flavors? BOOM! They hit you right in the taste buds.
My Foodie Fiesta: I went for the Spicy General Tso's Chicken, Hot and Sour Soup, and some eggrolls. The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and slathered in this amazing sauce that was sweet, spicy, and just the right amount of tangy.
The Hot and Sour Soup was the perfect balance. It was tangy, flavorful. And the eggrolls? Forget those greasy things you get at some places. These were crispy, golden, and filled with deliciousness. Just the right way to start the meal.
Wallet-Friendly Feast: And guess what? This whole flavor fest didn't break the bank! Wok Hei's prices are super reasonable, especially considering the quality and quantity of food you get. You're definitely getting your money's worth, and then some.
The Final Verdict: So, would I recommend Wok Hei? Absolutely! Whether you're a big foodie or just looking for a good, satisfying meal, this place is a winner. The friendly staff, passionate owner, and incredible food will have you coming back for more.

Read moreTbh, I know the owner of this place. I have to admit that I expect more. Seems like this place focuses on Western customers. Because they dont use Chopstick even when it is Chinese food. Also they have tea, Puer tea, but only in menu, not available now. Edit: I kinda used to Chinese restaurants put all utensils on table.
Their Menu quite hard to understand first time but it is ok. However, 1st time here might misunderstand the "Cauliflower Rice" thing, this is NOT RICE, IT IS JUST SLICED CAULIFLOWER.
Then talk about taste and price, I just try 1 main dish, 1 combo 50k (roll+soup) and 2 side dishes 225k, 2 ginger ale 50k. Total cost 500k VND, quite high for local.
The wonton soup have 2 pieces, the egg roll doesn't have the egg taste, next time I wont order it.
The side dish 1 is fried prawns with sauce and whole bowl of tasteless cabbage, very good salad, not deserved the cost. Side dish 2 is pork dumpling, quite good, but it is better to have it if you dont eat the main dish, it is very delicious and deserved.
Main dish is not rice, so of course i disappointed. Also I have to eat it with fork and spoon. The dish is Szechuan (sichuan?) Beef Cauliflower Rice. It is more like Beef steak with salad. It have dried pepper made it spicy, but only spicy as hell when you eat that piece of dried pepper in the dish, or else the dish is super sweet.
Atmosphere 3 star, because it is in narrow and dark and no-one-care-that-place.
And then even when it is same owner as the other restaurant where can pay with credit card without extra fee, in here, it will include 3% fee. So better have cash or QR banking. EDIT: I havent been charged 3% fee, i banking them.
Have to admit, their mexican food store is better, it is Adobo if you...
Read moreStopped by in mid afternoon with no wait at all. just had the appetizers of crab Rangoon, chicken egg rolls and egg drop soup. Everything was very good. Next time for dinner I want to try the orange chicken! Very clean and on the main floor you look right into the kitchen and can see them cooking your food! 👍 Love their shirts, “We Will Wok You”
Update: returned for a second visit, Had the Orange Chicken, white rice, wanton soup a spring roll and a Tiger beer. Once again everything was extremely good. Of you like Chinese food this certainly is the place to go.
Update July 27 New locale on an thuong 2, Same great food, had the ABC(almond boneless chicken), rice, egg drop soup and an egg roll. The ABC came with a mushroom sauce but I asked for and I received a side of orange sauce only because it is what is what I prefer with ABC. Only because I lived above the Detroit mayor of Chinatowns restaurant, the Forbidden City for 3-4 years and ate this fairly regularly and their Tahitian chicken as it was called there was my favorite! Anyway it was very good and I will be eating here again for sure, looking forward to trying other items in the menu!
Update August 10, 2025 Returned for dinner this evening and the staff here is so very nice and very attentive. I had the Ginger Chicken which was excellent, with it I had the Wanton Soup, and Egg Roll. Everything was absolutely great. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
After another visit and now I can highly recommend the General TSO’s chicken, without a doubt the best I’ve ever had and I’ve had plenty, It was made with very good boneless chicken, broccoli and just the right amount of heat 🌶️ . So far I’ve yet to try anything here that has not been very very...
