I just check out a while ago. (12 April 2017)|There are alot of things i need to say about this hotel.||Firstly, yes i have to agree that the bed is as hard as a rock so dont come in and try to jump on it. And yes theres no aircon because its already cold. You wont need one. ||The receptionist were fine to me. |The one with the red lipstick and wavy short hair. She was polite and check me in and out with a smile. The rest, the house keeper, the bellman, no smiles nothing. ||The exterior of the hotel is very lovely. It is located directly infront of Da lat night market.||But i must say, i really hate the breakfast. |First day, i was give a choice of eggs, or soup with some carrots and beef. Drink will be coffee or tea or ice water and... thats it. |Second day, pretty much the same except they have pho beef noodle and eggs. ||Third day was the worst. The day i check out. |There wasnt even anything on the table. |You walk in and they'll ask you what do you prefer. Noodles or eggs sandwich. And they'll serve it for you so its not a buffet breakfast. ||Bottom line is, the menu is will be the same! Everyday. I dont know what wrong with having some fruits or any cereal or "breakfast buffet"||And everytime you walk in the dining place, they will ask for your breakfast coupon, which is only given to you daily. So you will have to go to the receptionist and ask for your breakfast coupons.||I dont know how it works here at this hotel man but this is my first time experiencing it. |I have been to other hotels at other countries and coupons are usually only given on your first day. |The rest of the day you can just walk in freely or just say your room number. And all this hotel are those that have over 50 people coming in to have breakfast and they can remember you.||But this hotel, i literally see nobody. Either they arent awake or they agreed that the breakfast sucks. ||There are other tons of hotels nearby. ||Just google map and youll see. |Not sure if they are just as terrible but you can try?...
Read moreNice Dream Hotel is a very misleading name - their beds are just about the worst we have slept in in three months in SE Asia. The mattress has no padding - it feels like sleeping on a box spring. I asked for an extra blanket to give a bit of padding, but it didn't really help. ||As well, the hotel is right in the centre of town, with an all-day and night market, and non-stop traffic and beeping. It was impossible to keep our windows open for fresh air because of the noise. No nice dreams for us.||||The hotel appears to be run by the government tourism bureau - it has a cold corporate feel and the front desk staff are not initially welcoming and helpful. It took a couple of days to get smiles from them, but why do we have to work that hard?||||Breakfast is included, but the only item on offer is noodle soup. I did a Google translate to ask for eggs and toast, which the kitchen did provide for us, but there was no juice or fruit or any other food available. Our last morning there they had a buffet, probably because there were a number of guests there. The other three days the hotel felt empty.||||As we were checking out, the girl ran up to us to ask us for 5000 dong (about 25 cents) to replace a small bottle of water from the minibar. I gave her my bottle rather than argue, but that sort of nickel and diming (this was not alcohol or an expensive item) shows lack of training, customer service and good judgement. We walked out with a bad taste in our mouths.||||Our room had a nice bathroom, but the toiletries were obviously refilled, which feels a bit creepy. There was a kettle and two cups and saucers, but no tea or coffee, so I'm not sure what the point of that was.||||I've read the other reviews and these points (rock hard bed, cold staff, no in-room coffee) keep repeating themselves. The manager should take notice and try and change a few things because there are many hotels in...
Read moreMy recent experience at the Nice Dream Hotel in Dalat, was underwhelming. Despite its promising name, the reality fell short of expectations. It is a budget hotel folks.
The rooms were uncomfortably stuffy, and the beds felt like sleeping on concrete slabs. No elevator, but pretentious signs indicate it is for our benefit!
The breakfast buffet, touted as a highlight, was a letdown. Stale bread and rotting fruit dominated the spread, leaving much to be desired in terms of freshness and variety.
However, I must concede that the hotel's location was its saving grace. Situated in a convenient spot, it provided easy access to nearby attractions.
Overall, while the Nice Dream Hotel may have its merits in terms of location, the subpar accommodations and lackluster breakfast left much...
