Stepped into Phê La the other day with some friends, even though I usually avoid chains, this one was conveniently located beside the market and had a nice layout. The view over the market is solid, and the upstairs seating is actually quite comfy for hanging out or planning the day which was exactly the reason why I chose this one since it's located near the hotel.
Going with a larger group allowed me to sample a bit more of the menu compared to when I go by myself. Personally I thought the drinks were alright, better than smaller cafes and just right about normal and nothing special. But that’s the upside of chains, quality is consistent and you can expect a decent drink. But that's ok, the drinks were enjoyable and gave us that morning kick to start the day. I'm just happy to...

Also the staff I talked to doesn't speak good English, so I had a lot of trouble when I wanted to ask about drinks in the menu.
