The worst hotel during my travel in Vietnam. I booked 2 rooms for 2 nights (29 - 31 March 2025) via Trip.com at December 2024. I am travelling with elder and 3 years old kid and we arrived at the hotel at night after arrived from Sa Pa sleeper bus around 10.30PM, and just to find out that the hotel is full and no rooms left. First, they told me that my booking was not confirmed yet, and I showed them booking confirmation email from Trip.com. Second, they told me that the hotel is not partnered with Trip.com, then I chat the Trip.com customer service right away to confirm, and turned out it is true that Trip.com is their partner, then I confront with the hotel statement, and the hotel apologize to give me false information. And then I was waiting without any certainty for around 2 hours, you can imagine it, in the middle of the night, with elder and kid, tired and nowhere to stay. I am trying to solve the issue with Trip.com customer service which is very helpful, trying to find me another alternative hotel nearby. In the end I booked nearby hotel with very high price because the only room left that can accomodate my group was the suite type room, and finally we can rest nearly 01.00AM. My assumption, this issue is because I am not arriving at their hotel to check in until late night, they sell my rooms for another customer, to gain more profit, because it is on the weekend and the demand is high, and they don’t expect me to show up. I am very disappointed with Hong Ha hotel, and not recommend this hotel to anyone, please beware with this hotel!!!!! I screenshot the booking to prove that my review is true and not lie, with some censored...
Read moreWe ended up in front of this hotel at 4am, after a night bus from sapa dropped us quite roughly here (we were expecting a quiet arrival around 6am), the drivers pressing us to leave. Being with my mother, 60 years old, having difficulties to walk, we briefly sat in front of the stairs to dress up a bit, even considering taking a room in the hotel to finish the night. However, our experience ended up being some utterly aggressive groom repeatedly barking at us "you got luggage, you move, this is hotel", almost hitting us, despite my mother's efforts to quicken. We asked him whether the hotel treats all his clients like that, all of that he answered "no money". I believe his reasoning was "night bus = poor = no consideration", which I think is an incredible red flag for any kind of hotel. I wouldn't like to be one of their clients considering the remarkably poor client service showcased here, and I suggest avoiding this place...
Read moreVery bad. I was in 5 different hotels in Vietnam. This was the worst one. I didn't expect much...., but we spend the first and last days durning our trip in Vietnam. Got 2 different rooms here. Both of them smelled bad ( u open the door for the first time, and it feels like somebody just used the toilet), cold water in the shower, AC was not working properly (durning colder days u can freeze inside), very noisy, from inside, the walls are made of paper (dirty one) and outside, AC outside is working so loud, that u can't sleep ( +very crowded street in front of the hotel). No info about the prizes (noodles and water in the fridge), I mean I know that is not for free, but you don't know how much does it cost. Also pair of Slippers had different sizes 38 and 43.... Friendly restaurant and cleaning stuff are only plus in here. The breakfast...
