La Siesta Spa — Local services in Hà Nội

[This review is about the Spa, not the hotel]

Usually my airline puts me up in a different hotel nearby, but I've had the pleasure of staying at this hotel. Last stay, I tried the Spa services since they offered an early bird discount - and I found it to be exceptionally good.

I was in the area, so I visited again. For first timers, may I kindly advise you that the location on Google maps suggest an entrance from the South - when in fact the entrance to the spa is on the Northern side of the block, underneath the hotel entrance.

As an Airline pilot for more than ten years, I've been around. I can confidently say that the massage that Huong offered today was the best that I've ever had. She was super happy when I told her so. I could feel beads of sweat drop off her forehead as she applied pressure to my back. You don't see that sort of passion anywhere else.

For Hanoi prices, it is a little steep - but definitely worth the investment. I'm sure I'll be back, and would be happy to recommend this...

La Spa Hang Thung is on B1 floor of La Siesta Classic Hang Thung hotel, which is at a central location of Hanoi near Old Quarter. I booked Cloud 9 package which comes with 60 minutes of full body massage with hot stones and 30 minutes of foot care. You get a welcome tea upon arrival and do a survey to select the strength of massage and the kind of aroma oil along with anything you'd want masseuse to keep in mind (your injury history and any sensitive parts of your body). Great hospitality! Went there for a couples massage. There was a slight scheduling conflict that caused a 30 minute delay but they offered to add a complimentary 30 minutes to our 60 minute appointment. The tea and crackers they provided ahead of the massage are absolutely delicious! I still dream about them. The massage was a great experience! The masseuse checked in every once in a while to ensure the pressure was optimal. The atmosphere and aromatics were calming and relaxing, I probably fell asleep!
