The owner latched on as soon as we walked in and we could tell she was making up prices as she went. Although we knew they were heavily inflated (tourist prices) we accepted and agreed only to certain services (manicures only) for our group of 4. The whole time the owner kept pressuring us to do pedicures too but we remained firmly no. She separated my 5 year old daughter away from me while I was doing my nails saying there wasn't enough room to sit and wait where we were even though I protested. At that moment my husband arrived so he was able to follow and supervise. He didn't know we hadn't agreed to having anything done to my daughter so didn't stop the owner when she went ahead and painted my daughter's nails AND feet and then expected payment at the end.

Very importantly, please please please always ask for a new or provide your own cuticle clipper. We bought new ones from this place, for 4 times what they're worth, but it was worth it. 3 out of 4 of us were cut and bled. They only wipe down their equipment, they do not sterilise.

If I were to only rate the owner, then I'd give this place no stars. However, her staff do do nails well and we were ultimately satisfied...

As my first time trying a hot stone massage, I was a little nervous, but the masseuse was so skilled and experienced. She expertly worked out all the deep-seated tension and knots I had accumulated from hiking the previous day. The heat from the stones was incredibly soothing and penetrated deep into my muscles, leaving me in a state of pure bliss.

Adding to the wonderful experience was the lady who runs the business. She is so friendly and greeted us with the warmest smiles every time we saw her. She made lovely, idle conversation whenever we walked past, making us feel genuinely welcome.
