A Home Away from Home ,Even Better the Second Time! This was our second time in Hoi An, and once again, we left our hearts there , especially after staying at the beautiful Ti Hon House for 8 nights. I was traveling with my infant, and from the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home.
James and Hein are truly exceptional hosts; warm, thoughtful, and always ready to help. Their attention to detail and genuine care made all the difference. Uden, the wonderful housekeeper, looked after us every day keeping the villa spotless, preparing breakfast just the way we liked it, and even caring for my baby while I worked occasionally or enjoyed a massage.
Speaking of which, the massage was arranged by the house and was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. Being able to fully relax, knowing my baby was in safe, caring hands, was a real luxury.
One of the most memorable parts of our stay was the local food experience Hein shared with us. She took us a couple of times to a hidden local spot just outside the house, where we enjoyed traditional Hoi An breakfasts "the bánh mì ốp la and the Hoi An curry " dishes we would have never discovered on our own. It was delicious, authentic, and a beautiful way to experience local life.
My infant and I also miss the beautiful princess Shika, James and Hein’s sweet daughter, who brought so much joy and playfulness during our stay. She even took and edited lovely photos of my son such a thoughtful gesture. And a special thank you to their son for his kind help during the yoga class. Truly a wonderful family through and through.
Ti Hon House is not just a place to stay, it’s a place where you’re welcomed like family. The peaceful ambiance, thoughtful touches, and heartfelt hospitality made our time in Hoi An truly special.
Highly recommended for solo parents, families, or anyone looking for a serene and authentic stay in Hoi An. Thank you, James, Hein, Uden, and the whole family. We can’t wait...
Read moreWe tremendously enjoyed our stay at Ti Hon house, it is a fantastic place to stay if you are visiting Hoi an and the surrounding area. Here are the things that set it apart from other places we have stayed:
We were two families of 4 travelling together with 4 kids between 8-12 and we felt incredibly welcome and safe. Would strongly recommend Ti Hon house to anyone looking to...
Read moreWe stayed here for 2 nights and liked it so much we extended to 4 nights! We were very surprised that we had the entire place to ourselves, this is exactly the sort of place I can see being fully booked well in advance in a year or so once tourism has been back up and running for a while in Vietnam. Upon arrival we were given a fruit platter and fruit juices, breakfast each morning was delicious and we had a lot to choose from. They even took us out for breakfast a couple of times too, which we found very sweet. The hosts were very attentive, giving me their WhatsApp number and saying that we could ask for anything we needed at any time. She gave us recommendations of things to see, places to eat and things to do. They even have a spa and swimming pool on the bottom floor of the hotel with reasonably priced treatments and relaxing ambience. My wife said the massage was the best one she has ever had, and I enjoyed swimming some short lengths in the swimming pool (which is 1.6m deep at one end). The room was really nice, with a walk-in shower and a fridge with soft drinks and beers in. The bed was very comfortable and the AC worked well. I slept so deeply! The only thing that made us nearly not stay was the fact there are only a few reviews, but we are so glad we did as this is genuinely the nicest place we've...
