Hoi An Central Boutique and Spa Hotel is a gem nestled within the boundaries of Hoi An’s old town, offering an exceptional stay with top-notch service. The rooms are large, spacious, and meticulously clean, always stocked with water bottles and coffee. The interior decor features lanterns, vibrant colors, special tiles, and paintings depicting Vietnamese culture, creating a pleasant and inviting atmosphere.
The hotel boasts a huge pool with a shallow section for kids and a larger pool for adults with a depth of up to 1.6 meters. Guests can enjoy cocktails, wine, or beer by the pool, and there’s even an option for a poolside massage with wine and fresh fruits, available at a discounted rate for couples.
One of the standout features is the provision of free bicycles with locks, allowing guests to explore the town and night market conveniently. The hotel also offers free WiFi with good speed, ensuring a seamless online experience.
Service at the hotel is exceptional. The receptionist provided excellent shopping recommendations for leather goods at Ruby Ruby, clothing at NY Central, and various dining options such as Morning Glory, Bale Well Restaurant, Cargo Club Cafe and Restaurant, Madam Kanh, and a must-try sandwich place.
The morning breakfast is an extensive array of dishes, catering to both continental and Vietnamese tastes, with fresh fruits, juices, coffee, and a live station for eggs, pancakes, and pho. The staff were attentive, asking if we were vegetarians and accommodating any special requests for the next day’s breakfast.
The most remarkable aspect of our stay was the extraordinary hospitality we experienced. When we informed the staff of our early 5:30 AM checkout, they arranged takeaway food for all four of us, including yogurt, flavored milk, fresh fruits, sandwiches, croissants, cakes, cheese, butter, and extra bread. This level of care and attention is unparalleled, even compared to five or seven-star hotels we have stayed at before.
Special thanks to the receptionists Fa, Joy, and Fi, as well as the housekeeping and security staff, for making our stay unforgettable. Their dedication to exceptional service and customer care is something every hotel should aspire to. We highly recommend Hoi An Central Boutique and Spa Hotel and will definitely return on our next...
Read moreAtmosphere: The lobby has a nice feel, very traditional design with light music playing and art on display.
Location: Good location but the view from the room we were in was of other windows and the pool. Short 5-15 minute walk to restaurants, massage and shops (I have reviewed some of the best).
Menu: The menu is good at the restaurant. Pricing is decent for the quality of food. At night poolside they have specials such as BBQ or coffee tasting.
Breakfast: Decent buffet on offer with a small range of cuisines.
Pool/gym/spa/sauna:
Pool is outdoors and medium size. Wading pool at one end with beds in it too. It does the job on a hot day.
Gym is simple yet enough to get you by.
The Spa is on the pool floor and looked neat and smelt lovely however I didn't personally go in.
NOTE: To my knowledge here is no sauna here.
Price: Good value for money stay.
Customer Service: Staff are friendly and somewhat professional and all understand English however it comes across as passive aggressive sales marketing when you are eating breakfast or relaxing by the pool and the staff interrupt attempting to get you to only go to certain stores, maybe they have incentives to do so? The General Manager was always nice with a hello and smile.
Kids: Kids (9,7) enjoyed the pool area but I was concerned that the windows in the hallway were left open on all floors and are low and large enough for a child to climb or fall out from.
Accommodation: Bedding is comfortable including the fold out and all pillows. The design was very quaint and the bath was freestanding and deep. There was a bunk bed with a half room wall separator however it was not properly attached and moved greatly if bumped.
TV: Has an ok range of English channels.
Internet: Fast and free.
Accessability: Doors are opened for you and lifts are large - disability friendly.
Perfect for: Families/ singles/ couples/ mates/ business.
Summary of recommendation: A well priced place to stay in a comfortable room. Would try somewhere else before going...
Read moreWe had the most incredible stay at this hotel and cannot thank each member of staff enough!
We booked directly about a year in advance and in the weeks before arrival, Joy made sure to stay in touch with us. She went above and beyond, helping us with UK to Vietnam entry requirements (forms, COVID testing etc)
When we arrived, Joy welcomed us all with drinks, a cold towel and a bunch of flowers for myself too!
The hotel is extremely beautiful, very clean with large rooms and a fantastic location. The staff are so friendly and helpful, always on hand to help with anything you need and nothing was too much trouble. We used the pool, gym and spa whilst there. Breakfast is very fresh and plenty of it, fantastic variety with great food and Vietnamese Coffee! Our group had a number or allergies and dietary requirements (vegetarian and vegan members) but staff remembered every time. We felt very much at home here.
About a 10 minute walk into town, taxis and the electric Hoi An bus is also very readily available. A little convenience store less than 2 minute walk away for snacks, toiletries etc.
By far the best thing about this hotel was Joy, so friendly and genuinely cares that every guest has the best stay.
We are very grateful for all the staff who made this holiday very special but especially grateful for Joy, who was kind enough to not only recommend things to see/places to eat but also met up with us outside of her working hours to join us for dinner.
We will stay here again on our next visit to Hoi An and cannot wait! Hopefully Joy will still be there in a more senior Supervisor role as she deserves for all her hard work...
