We had such a fantastic time at Tri Long Coffee in Hoi An. We signed up for their coffee-making class which was a private class & cost $12 USD per person for two courses—great value for such a memorable experience. You can also choose three or four courses if you want to try more (options include Phin filter coffee, Hanoi-style egg coffee, Hue’s salt coffee, and Saigon’s coconut coffee).

The workshop runs for about an hour and is a perfect mix of fun, education, and hands-on learning. It starts with an introduction to Vietnamese coffee culture, where they walk you through the roasting process, explain the differences in bean types and roast levels, and even let you smell and compare them—including the famous (and wild) weasel coffee made from beans passed through civets!

From there, you jump into making your own drinks. We chose two styles and followed step-by-step instructions with lots of guidance. It was both delicious and surprisingly easy. You get to drink the coffees you make, take home printed recipes, and even receive a cute certificate of completion.

They accept both credit card and cash, which was super convenient. Whether you’re a coffee nerd or just curious, this was a fun, affordable, and unique way to experience a key part of Vietnamese culture. Highly...

Tri Long Coffee has completely transformed my coffee experience with their Coconut Coffee! From the very first sip, you’re met with a perfectly balanced combination of rich, aromatic coffee and the smooth, tropical sweetness of coconut. The texture is beautifully creamy, and the flavours blend so harmoniously that it feels like a little slice of paradise in every cup.

The presentation is equally impressive, with a frothy layer of coconut cream that makes the drink as stunning as it is delicious. Whether you’re a coffee lover or simply curious to try something new, this is an absolute must.

The café itself adds to the experience—cosy, welcoming, and the perfect spot to sit back and enjoy a truly indulgent treat. The staff are friendly, attentive, and clearly take pride in crafting high-quality drinks.

Oh, and I forgot to take a photo of the “before” moment, but here’s the “after”—completely finished! Hahaha. I can’t recommend this place enough. I’ll definitely be...

Had such a fun experience learning how to make my favourite (and of course the best) vietnamese coffee! You can choose to make any number of coffees you like. I paid 300k to make an egg coffee and salt coffee. The experience was informative about the coffee, without being too much information, and also easy to follow in terms of actually making the coffee. It really made me understand the time it takes to make egg and salt coffee to a good level. Both tasted so good, and I was proud to get the unexpected certificate at the end 😆 can't wait to take my skills and recipes home to make them for my friends! I just happened to be walking past when I saw their leaflet advertising coffee making classes and they saw me then and there. I waited 10 minutes and into the coffee making we went! Thanks again to Huong for being an amazing teacher 🫰 highly recommend Tri Long for their coffee even if you don't want to learn how...
