Galang Hotel — Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

Don’t be misled by reviews from tourists who stay for just a few days expecting five-star service like at the Sheraton. Galang Hotel is a small, cozy hotel in a perfect location, just off Hai Ba Trung – one of the main arteries of the city.

You’ll find yourself surrounded by great local restaurants, cafes, and shops, yet the hotel itself remains quiet and peaceful – ideal for both short and long stays.

The staff are super friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. The hotel and the rooms are super clean!

If I could give 6 stars, I would – but since that’s not an option, it’s a solid 5 stars from me.

The owner is very greedy, all he cares about is making extra money. He tries to charge for everything. Even when you want to pay with a local Vietnamese card, you have to pay extra in this hotel, ridiculous.

Went check in to the hotel next door within a minute...

Very poor service, would not recommend this hotel. Owner is very greedy and not helpful at all. If you want to extend your stay, you have to check out at 12 and then back in after 2pm. Or you can pay 200k to check in earlier. This despite the fact that the room is ready and empty. Much better hotels nearby so no reason...
