Green Star Hotel — Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL!! We booked this hotel for two nights, and the pictures looked like some 5 star hotel with a roomy suite, but once we arrived there, wasn’t so good. The stairs looked like they’ve been through some tough stuff, and here comes the rooms. I had a room on the 5th floor, and once I got out of the elevator, the floor was so dirty, and the walls look like mud was spread all over it. And the door is so scratched and dirty, and it sometimes gets jammed, it’s not a good look. Here comes the rooms. The walls literally have dirty footprints on them, and the bed has bugs on them. The floor is very dusty and feels and looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in weeks. The fridge looks like it’s been through hell with so many dents, looks like a crashed car in a junkyard. And the bathroom has so much brown stuff (no clue what it is) around it, and the bathroom has spiderwebs everywhere. I think the public bathrooms in Vietnam are cleaner than these ones. Then I had a view of a dirty building, unlike in the pictures. And when I slept, the clubs were blasting music and I can’t even sleep. Then here’s the worst part, there was A UNFLUSHED TOILET AND ANTS ALL OVER THE FLOOR. I don’t even know what to say, because there is literally nothing good here. If this is your only option for hotels, I’d rather sleep on the streets. Stay away from this hotel. Only positive things I have to say is every thing is walking...

This hotel is about 10 meters from the walking street of Bui Vien. So, if you are at the hotel to get rest for the night, it is not recommended to stay .Because the sound of music from Bui vien street will be loud until 1 AM. The hotel building may need to be renovated,as some of the properties are old. But if you just stay to sleep and shower, this hotel room so comfortable,choose the room with has a window, cause the room is big, it's just that there are some properties need to be up grade . Air conditioner is not cold, because the room is large area. Television is only local TV, the hot water kettle cable is too short and there is no connecting cable, the power plug is in a small cupboard under the TV, and even then the cable is short, so you should turn on the kettle with cable plugs in the wall and use the chair. Hotel is right in the middle of the club and bar area which has music all evening and night every evening and night. Also it’s the most catchy songs in an endless EDM Hands Up mashup with occasionally some DJ screaming something into the microphone. I don’t know if there are windows strong enough to stop that but these ones definitely did not. Photos are done very advantageously, the lobby now has a vape shop or something like that build in. Room smelled kind of weird - maybe the cleaning products. The shower was good but clogged after one use which flooded the bathroom. Overall we didn’t have the best time.
