We wanted to give this new hotel a chance. We got a room in the 5th floor. There is no elevator yet so you have to carry your heavy suitcases up and down. The breakfast was poor. We waited 30 minutes for drinks to arrive and have then been offered French toast or omelette as the only options and the omelette did not taste good. Read moreSuperb Boutique Hotel! Really friendly and helpful Staff. Yummy breakfast, cozy and clean Rooms - picture perfect interior. We would choose it again.
We stayed here for 3 nights - a perfect place to explore HCMC and relaxe from it.
The hotel has a nice bar/cafe with a lovely terrace. The terrace is like a theatre. You are sitting in the 2nd row and can easily watch the busy streetlife by sharing a drink.
Phantastay is a kind of a fusion hotel - offers the size of a boutique hotel, the atmosphere is as friendly as a home stay and you feel also a little bit the traveller atmosphere of a hostel (without all the bad things like sharing a room ;)).
Also a hugh shoutout to Trinh. We played UNO together (peacefull ;)) - and now we’ve got the vietnamese UNO rules.
If you stay at HCMC - do it!
Best regards from...
