Our 2 week tour through Vietnam ended with 3 nights at will‘s home hostel. |Through this tour we spent nights in so many places, this is the only one we regretted unfortunately...|Pictures look nice, bright and fairly spacious. That’s not the case..|Nice filters and nice angles were chosen obviously. |While it was amongst the most expensive places of our tour it had the least comfort in terms of space, super hard mattress, basically useless aircon, ridiculous breakfast etc. |Sounds harsh but compared to what other places offered for that price it is simply true...|I wouldn’t be that strict if the description wouldn’t praise the place so much and promise how clean it is, laundry service, super fast wifi, etc but it is in the end really...
Read moreBooked via hostelworld - Got there and even though I'd booked a twin room they tried to put myself and my 60 year old uncle into a double room instead (and the door lock didn't work!). Once they had managed to sort another room we found the room dirty and stunk of damp/mould which isn't ok as my uncle has a bad chest - we explained this to be told this is all they have available with no other solution.||We had paid before we saw the room and quickly asked for our money back to go elsewhere however were told they were taking the money for the first night even though we weren't staying there.||Appalling service, appalling rooms, dodgy location that's too far out from the centre.||Avoid...
Read moreA good value hostel. It's quiet as it's set back from the main roads. We had the family room for 6, which was basic but clean and had everything we needed including a decent fridge freezer. Only an internal window, but that suited us as we valued the quiet for a good night's sleep away from the city noise. Staff were friendly and helpful, booking us taxis and a tour to the Cu Chi tunnels. The free bottle of beer in the evening was a bonus - we drank ours on the roof terrace...
