Phong Lan Guesthouse — Hotel in Hue City

Hue Phoung Lan||||The home stay in located in a small alleyway not too far from the tourists area (DMZ bar). You need to walk about 80m from the main road. Taxi drivers will drop you off at the main road and you will need to walk the rest of the way in (perhaps 50m).||||Location of the homestay is excellent as it was close to bars/restaurants and also the boat ride terminal along Perfume river.||||It is about 15 to 20mins walk to the Citadel.||||Room size is big with a balcony overlooking into the neighbourhood street below.||||Breakfast is not included but there is plenty of choices outside. But we did have breakfast at homestay at USD2 per person which is reasonable. They have various home made jams for breakfast spread.||||We booked our Hue City Tour and also our bus transfer to Hoi An with them. The bus transfer to Hoi An is more like a tour going through the Hai Van Pass which most tourists wanted to experience.||||Homestay does not accept...

I usually travel to Huế city (2-3 times/year) and I choose only this motel to stay. The room price from 250,000vnd to 450,000 with basic amenities. All the room is clean & have balcony. The motel is located in a small alley in the centre of the city, just a few walk to the DMZ bar, mini supermarket, pharmaceutical shop ... and there are many restaurants around ( Vietnamese and Westerner food) The owner and staffs are so friendly & helpful. De ligging is heel goed, vlakbij veel goede restaurants en leuke winkeltjes.||||Grote kamer met een goed bed (meestal te hard in Vietnam, hier niet), mooi balkon en schoon.|| ||Het ontbijt bestaat uit (zelfgemaakte) jam, brood, een omelet en wat te drinken. Wil je meer dan moet je bijbetalen. ||||Nadeel: - geen koelkastje op de kamer (dit was wel beloofd)|| -als je doucht wordt heel de badkamer nat (zie je helaas wel veel in Vietnam)|| -geen lift||||Wij hebben via hen 2 tours geregeld:||1. Met een privé chauffeur naar de tomben voor 31 USD. Prima chauffeur, echt de moeite waard. Op de fiets is veel te ver! Privé vervoer is ideaal. ||2. Naar Hoi An met stops onderweg voor 70 USD. Super!||||Aardige mensen, we kregen bij vertrek zelfs beiden een geluksarmbandje. Maar ik heb het idee dat de straat vol staat met dit soort hotelletjes. Allemaal nagenoeg gelijk ingericht op de begane grond, zelfde houten bankstel, roestvrijstalen stoelen aan de ontbijttafel en tl-verlichting. Maar dit is in ieder geval zeker een...
