Blue Star Hotel — Hotel in Nha Trang City

I, as a customer, highly recommend everyone, who has a tight budget for a 4 or 5 stars hotel, you can stay at this Blue Star Hotel. Why?

The room was nice and clean with a reasonable price.

The staffs were nice and tended to make customers happy to stay and happy to go.

They upgraded my room for the same price even though I didn’t ask for. They said there was a one day tour to visit 4 islands costed 180000VND/person, but they actually only charged 175000VND. I returned the room before taking the tour and they still allowed me to take shower after the tour and also agreed to keep my stuffs without any additional charges. I rented a motorbike for 100000VND/day and returned it after about 3+ hrs of using it and they only charged half price, and again even I didn’t ask for it.

The bottom line here is you will hardly find a nice and clean place to stay next to the beach with a reasonable price and great customer services, especially they cared for saving their...

So before I begin the construction work that people have been mentioning from the building across the street (and next door) is still going on, still starts at 6am and doesn't look like it will be over any time soon! This was very irritating and even ear plugs didn't drown it out completely. ||Positives! The location is fantastic. Right next to the beach and close to lots of good restaurants. Ice cream parlour next door is great too! The staff were friendly and helpful in most matters. ||When we arrived we were shown to our room which on booking.com stated a balcony and bath. However ours did not have either. We showed them the description on booking but they just kept saying it was booking.coms mistake and we would have to pay extra for this room. It's a 2 star hotel and no, you do not get great value. Double the price and you will get a nice 4 star hotel a little further inland (like 100m away). Credit where credit is due, the staff have good attitude, the toilet is relatively clean and the hotel is close to the cliché Nha Trang beach (just go else where, Nha Trang is not that pretty, very crowded and it is full of tourist traps). Don't let the 5 star review deceive you since they stayed there 4-5 years ago. Right now, the room is bare minimum, dilapidated and is infested with ants. The AC and mini fridge barely work, the fan make loud noises even at lowest speed and the kettle is dirty. You have to park on the street if travelled by car.
