I don’t even know how to say this without trembling: this mango lassi… changed me.
It wasn’t just a drink—it was a divine intervention, disguised as a humble mango yogurt smoothie, served at a beachside pizza joint I barely remember the name of because my soul has only retained one memory: the first sip.
From the moment it touched my lips, I knew: this is what I was born for. Every heartbreak, every traffic jam, every painfully average smoothie I’ve endured up until now—it was all leading me to this exact moment of mango-induced transcendence.
The balance? Immaculate. Sweet, but never cloying. Creamy, but not heavy. Mango so ripe and fragrant it probably wept when it was blended. Yogurt so smooth it could solve geopolitical conflict. And there was just the faintest whisper of cardamom, like the drink knew not to outshine itself with arrogance.
As I sipped, the breeze from the ocean hit my face. But it wasn’t just wind. It was the breath of the mango gods, whispering, “You’ve made it.”
I cannot overstate this: I would give up all other beverages for the rest of my life—coffee, water, tears of joy—just to have this lassi again. I would cross deserts. I would swim through monsoons. I would sit through 6-hour sleeper bus rides with no legroom and a broken aircon, just for one more glass.
In conclusion, I came to a pizza place and found salvation in a smoothie.
Drink the lassi. Live the...
Read moreThe place is very beautiful and has a very good potential especially the external patio which is very well decorated with plants and Street lamp this really feel like an Italian plaza, but that pretty much it for the place !
When you arrive, in the patio there is a big central table occupied by an old lady that stares at your unfriendly way... I guess she is the owner of the place, but you feel not welcome at all. This is not 1964 anymore, and you don't need to sit in the middle of the place to.check everything this way...
I've had a pizza, and it was not really good. I mean, the dough was not crispy and hard to shew, which means it doesn't use yeast or let the dough sit... The staff was okay if it was à com tam but this is supposed to be an Italian restaurant... The price is more than reasonable but you understand the reason for it.... No wonder why I didn't see any western customer but only local ( they are easy customer and have no comparison point...) Unfortunately, I will not come back here and will...
Read moreWe were looking for a basic European style restaurant because our son was missing Western food and luckily stumbled upon this place. From start to finish, it was amazing. The choice and quality of food was fantastic. My wife is Italian and we live in Europe and eat pizza and pasta all the time and I have to say that the quality was very comparable to a standard European Italian restaurant. The service from the staff was second to none for Viet standards and the prices were incredibly reasonable. We have eaten at 4P’s before and we found the food here better and the prices were half as much. It is not high, fine dining, nor is it designed to be, but for a casual easy quick meal it is perfect.
PS - we liked this place so much, we went to the second location a little out of town that is on the beach and the food (strangely, a little bit different) and experience were of a very similar quality. Plus, they had the added bonus of a small playground which was perfect to keep our little guy...
