We were shocked on arrival, but there is no opportunity to get the money back and leave, or change a room to a beter type. The terrace noted on Agoda web is applicable only for 2 rooms: 104 and 204. We had a "nice view" on the next building wall in 35 cm. The linen was not changed for 5 days. Towels are not changed at all, even to change it on request is a problem. Aircon get strait into your head, so you can not use it without catching a cold. Ugly thick solid pillows, strong pain in your neck every morning becomes your best friend. Everyday cleaning is just sweeping the floor around the bed. Dust and garbage under the chairs are left untouched. The windows were not cleaned for years... Stuff could enter your room anytime without even knocking. Very poor toiletries, ugly toothbrush, buthfoam is "very usefull" as you have no buth. The price for this nightmare is too much. I don't believe those rewies and high rate of this hotel. Very pity. ||There some pictures as a proof of our nice view, terrace furniture and so on.||I want to be honest, so I have to say that the location is good.||Smily stuff.||At least one person speaks good English.||The main entrance is open for nightime, so you can get in and out anytime you like.||Please check the photos as...
Read moreSadly I just had the exact same experience as the person below. I left my room for 2.5 hours, during which time approximately $100 was stolen from my locked room (money was in toiletries bag), most likely by cleaning staff, as there were no other guests at the time. I raised this with the manager/ owner, who was completely unapologetic and unwilling to accept any responsibility, going as far as to ask for the $12 I owed for staying one night. This was quite shocking to me as it showed a complete lack of understanding. The fact that this seems to be an ongoing issue, and that the hotel has not installed security boxes in any of the rooms is also very strange. All in all this has left me with a bitter taste in my mouth for Vietnam, as nothing like this has ever happened to me (both the theft and how it was handled) anywhere else in south east Asia. Needless to say, I would urge people to avoid staying here at all costs. Also seems like one of the 5 star reviewers...
Read moreUnfortunately, money was stolen from my backpack in my locked room. We had booked day trips through the hotel so it was known we were out for the day. There has been other reports of money theft at this hotel on TripAdvisor. It wasn't smart of me to leave money in my pack as there was no safe in the room but it was stuffed in a zipper compartment. After reading all the reviews online I thought it would be safe enough because the hotel was a family run operation. The manager did compensate us approximately 20% of our loss with some discounts. Expect your bag to be thoroughly searched if you stay at this hotel. Other than that incident, everyone there...
