Premier Coastal Nha Trang Apartments — Hotel in Nha Trang City

The setting is outstanding and the room is good. However, we booked so we could self cater and make use of the local produce and we were unable to do so because of the limited kitchen equipment.|Despite complaining, the knife pictured was never replaced.|When we discovered our room was not receiving maid service I enquired why not only to be told that this was only included twice in our 14 day stay because we had booked through an on line company. This was ridiculous. There were no cleaning products and, despite asking for cloths and washing up liquid, we did not receive them. I had to use a wash towel from the bathroom which became tea stained as a consequence.|We then received an e mail asking us to pay for this cloth which was 'damaged' and 'had to be replaced'. This charge was removed after we objected.|The apartments are above the star city hotel and we found their staff helpful and their pool and beach facilities were lovely. Without Star City interventions we would have given this 2 stars.|Anne Nyugen of Star City was especially helpful.|I don't like having to complain and would also say the shower and room...

Not exactly what we expected based on the pictures at Agoda when we booked this place. Not only did the hotel staff initially not know that the apartments were part of the hotel they're located at (16th to the 21st floor), so there was a bit of confusion as to where we were actually staying, but the place is also quite old and worn. The kitchen pots and pans are all old and quite nasty, not that we were really planning on cooking. Surprisingly there was an induction hob. The bed is one of the worst hotel bed I've ever slept in, with a really worn, bouncy mattress, old worn, stained bed linen and uncomfortable pillows. Also note that the internet here was terrible, not only was it the slowest of any hotel I've ever stayed in, in Vietnam, but it also had really poor coverage and cut out at times. Only plus is the bathroom and the view. The location is good as well, as it's close to a lot of restaurants and had the weather been better, the beach across the road would've been nice too. There are much better options for similar money...

Apart from the view, ve aware what ro attend. Here a few points in summary:||1) No help to arrange for a driver||2) After 5 calls and one message from airport, the confirmed driver didn’t show up||3) Reception was a total mess and queuing as when waiting for the elevator||4) My the night before arriving i was threatened the room would be cancelled since the credit card was fraudulent. Total BS||5) Finally, the card was accepted somehow and when checking-out, my stay was cancelled… and a 2% upcharge made since the money was transferred to Australia. I checked on the address there and it looks more than fishy. I assume that my stay was canceled when paid to handle their finances… and avoid me making a bad review on their site…||My stay was literally ruined with all the mess they created and most sincerely, something i have never ever witnessed in my 40 years of intensive travel across mother Earth.||It’s probably the most expensive...
