Me and my partner absolutely loved staying at Tien’s Cozy Homestay. The host was so sweet and incredible. He messaged us prior to our arrival to see if we would like transport to the hotel. We kindly declined as we wanted to explore on the way to the homestay. When we arrived, he had put out two bottles of cold water for us, which was such a nice thought and definitely appreciated.

We were able to check in straight away. The room was spotless. SO CLEAN! The bed was very comfortable and the bed linen smelt amazing !! We slept very well here and it was so quiet.

The surrounding area was beautiful, at the front of the hotel there was a beautiful clean pool with an amazing view of the famous sign. This was very refreshing when the weather was hot. At the back of the hotel the balcony looked onto beautiful green rice fields.

The host kindly provided lots of information on the best things to do and we also rented a bike from him which was great. He gave food recommendations which we greatly appreciated.

The breakfast included was so delicious. We had the noodles and coffee.

We left the hotel to go on a 2D1N tour and when we returned we were allowed to relax in the hotel and have a shower whilst we waited for our late night sleeper bus that he booked for us.

We couldn’t be happier with our stay at Tien’s Cozy Homestay — it truly exceeded all expectations. The service was absolutely impeccable from start to finish. The staff were so kind, attentive, and welcoming, making us feel at home the moment we arrived. Breakfasts were delicious and thoughtfully prepared early to suit both our tour and our early bus – such a thoughtful touch that we really appreciated. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and offered a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. The location is ideal – tucked away in a quiet part of town, yet still an easy walk to the centre. There’s also a fabulous restaurant just around the corner. Everything we needed was taken care of – from tours to bus tickets to great local recommendations. A special shoutout to Cuba, the incredible host who made our stay so special. His warm energy and attention to detail made us feel more like friends than guests. We’re already desperate to come back! Phong Nha offers a range of accommodations for all budgets, but as it’s a popular tourist destination, prices in town aren’t particularly cheap. I found Tien’s Cozy Homestay to be fairly priced, and upon arrival, the value for money seemed very good. Cuba, the host, speaks good English and will likely get in touch via WhatsApp before your arrival to check if you need anything. Throughout my stay, he was very attentive and helped with anything I needed—like reserving a bus to my next destination.

The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. On my first night, there were some mosquitoes in the room due to a broken bathroom window, but on the second night (in another room), I had no issues. The bed was comfortable, and both the shower and Wi-Fi worked well. The pool is small but a nice spot to relax at the end of the day.
