Victoria Park / Barrambin Putt Putt — Local services in Brisbane City

Booked putt putt online as I was attending with a client who had a disability and wanted to avoid any possibility of having to wait. Pretty much all the slots were available that morning, so I was expecting the place to be quiet.

Came on Tuesday 21st. Booked for 10am and arrived at 9:40am (after a 40 minute drive to get there). Drove around for 20 minutes and could not find a parking space in the whole of Victoria Park parking lot, let alone the spots designated for golf. This includes on all the gravel areas. MANY cars were parked anywhere there was space to leave a car. I assume the crowd was because of a function. Ended up having to leave and forfeiting the cost of the ticket. This client is not eligible for a disability parking permit.

Love going here, have done so for years. Unfortunately they always over book the time slots & there is an excessively long wait for each hole. Hard to book a table at the bistro as you cannot estimate what time you’ll be finished. Makes you feel conscious & trying to speed up your putting when there’s people breathing down your neck for their turn & hard to truly relax & have fun. Particularly when you’re getting balls flying at you from the people with the turn after you who are not waiting for you to finish. Hard to be out in the sun for 1.5+ hours in the sun, with most of it waiting a long time for each turn. They need to stager the...
