Mean Beanz Espresso — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Cute little cafe, a visit as we were in the area for the Sunday markets. We only had coffee / baby 'cino and biscuit for the toddler. They had only two staff on but were super busy and wait times were long - we didn't mind as we weren't in a rush but something to consider if you needed to get away quickly. I don't know if this is their norm or just short staffed for the day. Minimal seating inside but a selection of more outside. Despite the wait the coffess were well made (I always worry that I will get terrible stuff when staff are under the pump) but no! Came out nicely done. My partner and I stopped by Mean Beanz Espresso early this morning for coffee and bagels, and we were beyond impressed! I had the Avo & Feta Bagel, while he had the Grilled Halloumi Bagel—both were absolutely delicious. The coffee was superb, smooth, and perfectly brewed.

I had a meeting planned at this cafe for 9am on a weekday. I sat at one of the tables and opened my computer to wait for my client. One of the workers approached me and asked if I was going to order and I said that I was waiting for my client and I was going to order 2 coffees. The worker then berated me and told me I need to order or leave. I chose to leave but found this very confusing as I had explained to her that I was planning to order coffee?
