FEVER - TITANIC EXPERIENCE 2024. Hands down the best exhibit ive been too since the animatronic dinosaurs one from my childhood or the warhol one also from long ago. Its not often brisbane has particularly noteworthy shows on (sorry its true, melb usually gets the good stuff). This was just amazing. So so so many rooms to walk through and attention to detail, submersive (haha) experiences with different considerations such as the real ice block “iceberg” to touch and show how cold water would be - instead of imagining it. The dimensional boat that was made on display to show what the boat looked like top to bottom and on the inside - all with little people figurines and lights to make it feel real. The sunken display doing the same with so much attention to detail. Absolutely loved this experience. And they allowed my disabled companion in free on companion card offer. Outstanding empathy for humans. Outstanding artwork and efforts. So much to learn and take in. The music from the music quartet that famously played as the ship sank - played at one point during one of the audio tapes and i nearly cried because with all the visuals you really are TAKEN there. You wont regret going. Absolutely bring the kids even just for the iceberg and the cabin experiences! Theres two video rooms the kids can sit and listen to the audio with a visual aid (i find best) if the rest of the tour is too confusing for them without visuals such as just looking at plaques and artefacts.

To note that there are 6 levels in this place from lowest to highest, Level A, E, Q, and 1, 2, 3 (Cinema). In my opinion, it’s the best and most versatile shopping centre for daily consumption around Queen Street Mall, which has a food court (level E), Coles (level E), Target (level A), EB Games, various clothing stores, and any other kinds of shops. The food court is quite abundant in seats and restaurants on level E. The entrance escalator on Albert St can lead you to the food court through Beach House Bar & Grill, which is a popular restaurant with live music sometimes. The interior design of the mall is also quite impressive and not too complex. To sum up, this is definitely necessary for tourists who stay at hotels in CBD.

I feel like I'm the only one in these reviews who actually likes the older aesthetic of the Myer centre. The truth of the matter is that I've never once had an issue with the Myer centre, and find it to be a great place to go both for incredibly specific shopping trips and just general "hang outs" - if the centre were to be closed as some of the more negative reviews suggest, or remodelled in a way which made it lose its unique character, it would be a true shame.

Nespresso gentleman was very helpful and knowledgeable about the product. He certainly steered us in the right direction of what we want our next machine to be and spent the time with us despite making him late for his break, which meant he had to cut his break short. He didn't complain about it, just casually mentioned when he'd be back if we had further questions (we had finished with speaking with him by this time so he wasn't deserting us, just going that extra bit of service). Was disappointed that they offered AfterPay but only online. That wasn't made clear. Was also disappointed that they no longer source models available in other stores and get it sent if they can't get the one that you want there but can at another, like they used to (it wasn't within an achievable distance for us to get to). So it seems that from the Myer end, their service has slipped. They used to not only source from elsewhere, they would deliver it free). We went to a competitor instead. The competitor even made me a cup of coffee in the store, and offered other options for payment ('though nespressoperson wasn'tas good but by then we knew what we wanted). We didn't buy on the day but we will go back to the competitor, because, not only can we get exactly what we want for the same price, their customer service from the sales staff (not the Nespresso staff) was much better. It wasn't bad. It just wasn't as good as it used to be nor as good as we...
