Called and made a booking for 9 the day before. Tip: make sure you call within their trading hours as there is no option to leave a message. Was told 1 bill per table. At the venue, I saw you can get a 5% discount if paying by cash. For a group booking I assume this has to be for the whole table.

We were allocated a table at the back of the restaurant. The tables are spaced a reasonable distance from the others. At the table we were assigned one side had bench seating and the other side had single chairs. This is a popular spot. Made a booking for midday and the restaurant filled up fast.

Table service. We were given 2 jugs of water and cups for everyone. Everyone ordered from the lunch menu except one person. The meals ordered from the lunch menu came within 10 mins of being seated. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case for the person that ordered off the regular menu. They had to wait over half an hour and had to follow up with the waiter to check it was coming. On the plus side it would've been freshly prepared.

I ordered the beef massman curry (as the waiter informed me this was one of the most popular items) from the lunch menu and took advantage of a $4 upgrade on top and chose the chicken skewers with peanut sauce. I was happy with the portion of curry and the amount of beef chunks in it. The skewers were mini skewers but reasonable at that price point. The sauce would've been next level if they added peanut butter.

It was so busy you needed to give the staff a wave to get their attention. Overall everyone enjoyed their meal and the staff did their best considering how...

Had dinner with a friend and ordered stir fry, curry, and, by accident, sticky rice instead of steamed rice. When the food arrived, I realized my mistake and asked if it was possible to swap the rice since both cost the same. The waitress responded, "The rice is wrapped in plastic and will melt, so we can't serve it to another table later if you send it back. You have to pay."

If your customers have to point out that you shouldn’t be wrapping hot rice in plastic because it melts, or that you shouldn’t be serving rejected food from one table to another paying customer, it’s probably time to rethink your morals and food safety practices.

She then called over the "manager" (who seemed like just another waiter) to deal with it, but instead of actually resolving the issue, he just said, "You ordered over the QR code, so it was your mistake, not ours." I asked, "So you and your staff have never made any mistakes?" He avoided the question and just laughed. Interesting customer service.

At that point, I let it go— since it wasn't worth getting upset about. The irony is that they messed up our order by giving us a plate of plain peanut sauce instead of the stir-fry we actually ordered. No apology, no acknowledgment—just a restaurant unwilling to take responsibility for their own mistakes while holding customers to a higher standard than they hold themselves. And on top of that, very questionable food...

I will start off with the most ridiculous thing I have seen or heard of in a restaurant. My daughter had accidentally knocked over a glass on the table and it smashed on the table she didn't drop it or it didn't fall on the ground just knocked over on the table so this gives you an idea how fragile the glass is. So the waitress comes over to clean the glass and you would swear someone had murdered someone how mad this waitress was. My friend tried helping and she aggressively pulled the bag away from him, when she was leaving I joked to the table that they will probably charge us for the glass and when the bill came my joke became real. They had added broken object charging $15. Now of course there's no way we would be paying that so we let the server know and had to talk to manager and he took the charge off.

The food was very good and I was even considering going back here because it was good but the service is actually a joke. The drinks where crazy expensive for what you get for example I ordered a Caipirinha cocktail and when it came out it was just a glass of ice with a small bit of drink in it, also 2 other cocktails ordered to the table mango margarita and a watermelon cocktail and they charged 8 dollars each to put vodka in.

This restaurant seriously needs to put the servers either through training or get new staff because they really bring down the good work then kitchen staff does...

🌟 Authentic Thai Delights in the Heart of Brisbane CBD! 🌟** If you're craving an authentic Thai experience, look no further than Pochana Thai Restaurant! Nestled in the bustling heart of Brisbane's CBD, this gem offers a culinary journey to Thailand without leaving the city. From the moment you step in, you're greeted with warm smiles and the inviting aroma of Thai spices. The menu is a treasure trove of traditional dishes, each bursting with flavor. The Pad Thai is a must-try—perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of sweetness and tang. Their Green Curry is another standout, rich and creamy, with a kick that will leave you wanting more. Don't miss out on the Som Tum; it's refreshingly spicy and the perfect start to any meal. What truly sets Pochana apart is the attention to detail. The presentation of each dish is impeccable, and the flavors are consistently spot-on. The ambiance is cozy yet vibrant, making it an ideal spot for both casual lunches and intimate dinners. The service? Absolutely top-notch! The staff are attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to recommend dishes based on your preferences. Whether you're a Thai food connoisseur or trying it for the first time, they'll make sure you leave with a smile on your face. In short, Pochana Thai Restaurant is a delightful escape to Thailand in the middle of Brisbane. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a genuine Thai dining experience!

Very much like Kinn-Imm in Queens Street, Pochana is a haven for authentic Thai cuisine. It is truly like walking into a cafe, restaurant or the best ones found along the curb side in Bangkok, Pochana's food is an orgasm on the tastebud. The ingredients are so fresh, interesting and packed full of flavour. Lemongrass, mint, chilli, ginger form the terrific framework on which the chefs at Pochana build their menus. Some restaurants tend to get lazy with their appetisers, choosing to concentrate on the mains but not at Pochana. Their appetisers are delightful, fun and creative. You could easily build a main meal of tapas-like dishes from the appetisers alone. But if you allow yourself to proceed further, their curries are scrumptious and heavenly. Everyone of them is just delicious but the duck and fish curries are my favourites. Most because they are hard ingredients to make into greatness. Pochana does this with effortless ease. Their drinks menu are so creative, fun and delicious. But wait, don't neglect their non alcoholic menus too. The juices are just as wonderful and my ultimate favourite drinks is their Thai Ice Black Coffee which is the perfect blend of smoky coffee and sweet sugary syrup. An absolute gem of a place in Brisbane to go for the best meal you can find. I can't recommend them enough.
