Would love to give a lower score. Staff are kind enough and do their best but from the very first time I walked in there I got the impression that there is no real order and that many staff don't really know what they are doing and visitors of all nationalities seem to look and sound of angry, confused or a combination of the two. Took three contrary phone calls and 2 days to find out they couldn't authenticate my TEFL course despite it being a VISA requirement and it being correctly notarised and legalised. I then went to pick up said document and waited literally an hour and a half for them to do what amounted to pealing off a sticker (they had put the authentication sticker on it despite not being allowed to). Expensive and slow service with bizarrely short opening hours. The security guard on the front is also unfriendly stopping me walking through on every visit to ask me where I was going, but was fine to watch my girlfriend wander through with a servo pie from across the road without a peep. In the process of paying $700 to an agency to start all over again over east because of the Perth consulates sheer incompetence. God help you if you need...

My HK passport expired few months ago and I need to go back urgently , The staffs inside quite friendly, professional, even though I miss the appointment and photo not fit their requirements.

I know it is not their responsibility to help us but they try to work it out for me ..

Highly recommend HK citizens if u lost ur passport and need a replacement urgently.

Need to make an appointment before u go there , must take a photo in officework ( post office not recommended) .

I hope I can rate 0 star. Looking at the previous reviews, I figured out they are extremely rude to Mandarine speakers. I have called them to enquire about PCR test requirement visiting China on behalf of my mom in law. The receptionist was extremely rude, impatient and unprofessional.
