Queens Gardens — Attraction in East Perth

Beautiful historic garden with information on the park's history. Always well maintained. Fully fenced from the roads to protect water birds. Easy access paths for prams, toddlers, and dog walking but dogs must stay on a lead so they don't chase or interfere with the high number of water birds roaming around the park, including a swan. Lovey sprawling lawns for family fun. Water-ways are not fenced so good supervision levels should be considered if you have young children. I wonder though now if they will change the name to The Kings Gardens...?? Interesting to see what happens.

Personally, I don't think they should... In honour of Her Majesty's passing maybe they could erect a memorial statue there or something to honour her and her extremely long reign on the throne.

I witnessed my beautiful Grand-niece Camellia marry her dream man Richard in this picturesque setting carved out in the West end of Hay Street in the middle of Perth City.

The sprawling garden was well manicured , the flowers on the trees and bushes were in full bloom creating a perfect backdrop for the wedding.

It seemed surreal sitting in this peaceful lush spot while looking up towards the 20+ story buildings (hotels and offices) surrounding it.
