I really love this market as it does have a great atmosphere but I feel like for a Christmas market it just wasn’t festive enough. I would love to have seen some mulled wine or cider or perhaps some carol singers around the place. The produce is amazing and while I understand it is all homemade, it is very expensive to the average family wanting to buy lots of gifts, I couldn’t really afford a lot of the products there, only some of the food stuff like the delicious fudge. Also I felt like there was a lot of the same thing being sold there at different stalls, for example lots of candles and jewellery. It was a lovely event to attend but didn’t meet my Christmassy...
Read moreIt was actually difficult to find this market in the University building near the beach...only coz our maps kept taking us to a market at the local Town Hall which was a Vintage Toy Sale Market...we finally found the Piccadilly Market...it was a pretty good market...bought some awesome rhubarb relishes and jams for the Grandson...had a great feed at the food trucks and there was a woman singing and playing the guitar as we were leaving and we listened to her for awhile... unfortunately she didn't have her name or anything on display so I don't know who she was...but my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed listening to her sing and...
