Cool spot in the city to hangout for an evening. The area is lined with some really good restaurants offering a variety of options. There is a gelateria that offers some tasty gelato as well. Evening would be a great time to visit. There is a nice little walk you can take along the pier. Some days there are street performances happening which add a bit more excitement. Favourite part if the pier is the spot with all the piles that make for an excellent photography moment just capturing those in the backdrop of a well lit bridge. The views are spectacular as one switches from daylight to night lights.

Not often here but today for Run for the Kids 2023 and Pier area is beautiful to look at. Love all the bollards in the water, I'm sure they're functional but so decorative. Toastie cheese truck here and I was drawn like a moth to a flame ..... and after event .... Coffee!

Trams run pretty regularly. Unfortunately the shelter on city side, is mostly ineffective - both hot & cold/wet conditions. Normally don't like to whinge as it is better than our previous set up. Perhaps build shelter so we stand behind structure than in front - "inside out" arrangement. The current tram times QR code...
