Lacoste South Wharf DFO — Local services in Melbourne

Very excited to be visiting Melbourne, I ventured into the store today, as I desperately needed another pair of Lacoste sneakers. I’ve bought the same style for years and thought it would be a successful visit … ‘I bought, and sold myself, the sneakers’. That’s the two stars. There was no customer service. On entering the store, a young sales person was on their mobile phone. After finding the sneaker I was seeking, I asked if it was in my size, and the response was ‘no’ and the shoe was handed back and their finger was pointed to the label regarding available stock. So I then returned to the shoes on display and decided on another style. Back to the staff member, and I again requested my size. A box of shoes was then handed to me, and the staff member returned behind the counter and to their mobile phone. I chose to buy the sneakers, however the purchase was done with just a couple of words from the staff member ‘that will be $$$$, tap here’, as I tapped and paid, and back to their mobile they returned. I placed my shoes in the bag I’d bought and left the store. So Lacoste South Wharf, you may like thank me, the customer, for the sale in your store, as your staff member did nothing but go to the back room and locate a box of shoes. Absolutely terrible customer service here when I visited the store on 10/11/2020 around 4pm. I spent at least half an hour here to buy polos. I had an eye on many of them and carry like 20 of them on me. And interesting how the 2 people who work here just standing at the counter and chatting and enjoying looking at me without offering no help. Nice and clean store with good things to buy but I expected a much better customer service at least. Have a look at how you treat your customer when you turn up at work everyday. And don’t say that social distancing is a thing to do at that moment. You could have done so...

I recently visited Lacoste at the South Wharf DFO, and I had a fantastic experience! The store is well-organized, and the staff are friendly and attentive. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and well taken care of. It's rare to come across such friendly and professional service.
