Nestled within the vibrant heart of DFO, Melbourne, lies a hidden gem of a Vietnamese restaurant. Its name, a mystery to most, invites curious souls to embark on a culinary adventure like no other. As I stepped inside, the tantalizing aroma of exotic spices and sizzling delights enveloped my senses. The ambiance exuded warmth and authenticity, transporting me to the bustling streets of Hanoi. This Vietnamese eatery, a haven for food enthusiasts, promised an unforgettable gastronomic experience. With eager anticipation, I ordered a plate of fragrant fried rice. Each grain danced with the flavors of garlic, soy sauce, and delicate herbs, creating a symphony of taste that delighted my palate. The chicken dish, tender and succulent, was a testament to the chef's skillful mastery of Vietnamese cuisine. Its harmonious blend of spices and herbs left me craving for more. However, not all was perfection. The lemon pepper fish, though promising in description, fell short of expectations. The fish, unfortunately, lacked the desired crispness and tenderness. The flavors, once vibrant on the menu, seemed muted and underwhelming on the plate. It was a minor disappointment amidst an otherwise remarkable dining experience. In the end, this Vietnamese restaurant within DFO, Melbourne, proved to be a haven for culinary enthusiasts seeking an authentic taste of Vietnam. While the fried rice and chicken dishes were exceptional, the lemon pepper fish left room for improvement. Nevertheless, this hidden gem continues to beckon food lovers with its tantalizing flavors and promises of a memorable dining experience.

Worst experience at a shopping centre restaurant in Melbourne. The food we ordered was meant to be spicy (as per the Menu Board) and ended up being utterly sweet. When we requested that the food be exchanged for another dish, considering we paid 14 dollars for it, the elderly lady at the counter turned confrontational, stating we do not know anything about Taiwanese food and that we "throw the dish out in the bin if we didn't like it". I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone purely because of their lack of regard for customers and the food tasting nothing close to what it was meant to. They were arrogant and smirked right through the discussion, not giving a damn. Cannot believe that they are still in business at South Wharf DFO!!

Surprisingly nice food court offering. Taiwan House is probably your best bet for a decent feed in this food court. Vegan noodles, hot pot, usual run of stir fries with rice and a pretty extensive 'choose your own meal ' option. Cooked to order dishes are fairly quick (you take a pagers and return when it beeps) People with mobility issues should be fine here as it is all on one floor with lifts and escalators to other floors. We had vegan noodle options 2 and 3 from menu - veggies were fresh and not overcooked :)

Other than going for the food in the bamarie I saw Dan Dan so ordered this, on the board they did specify spicy (which upon ordering she did confirm this with me), so after this I was thinking it would be super spicy.

It didn't take too long for the food to come out and think they should invest in a sign with the ready order number other than a bloke shouting it in a busy food court.

It was large and the standard size Asian take away bowel was full to the brim of noodles, a little shocked how much was in there. Going in for the taste I was shocked how much it lacked spice after the girl thought she needed to inform me it was spicy and lucky they have extra chilli to help yourself to.

Overall it seems they pump you full of quantity other than quality as it was alot of noodles and wish I had someone with me to share. I have had worse so I wouldn't give it 1 star and obviously with the location it was over priced and think it worked out $16 for the meal with a bottle of water (BTW you will need the water for the excess msg). I can't see myself going back here and wouldnt reccomend it either but...
