I love Lovey Patisserie, it will forever have a special place in my heart. I have not had a desert here that has ever been bad, every single dessert I’ve ever ordered, and I ordered a lot of desserts.
Every single dessert has been so delicious. Has always been the softest fluffiest cake with the most perfect thin amount of cream. The fruit they get is always so perfectly fresh and always compliments the cake so well they’re not always the sweetest but the sourness and the tightness will be perfect with the cream filling.
Recently, I’ve gotten a Hawthorn cake with strawberries, and that was really really delicious. It was a perfect amount of tart to sweet ratio. Their cakes are always super light super fluffy and super enjoyable to eat.
I love that they have seasonal rotations of different fruits. I love that their cake menu is always changing. I cannot recommend this place enough. I love that they do 4 inch cakes for last minute occasions.
They have a caramel hazelnut chocolate cake, which I absolutely adore. It is so delicious. It is one of the denser cakes cause the chocolate hazelnut and the caramel, but the flavor profile is so gorgeous and it’s so small and it’s such a moist cake as well. It’s not overly dense. It’s done so so well.
My entire family knows that I love their strawberry shortcake. It’s one of their classics. They will always have it on their menu because they do it so well, they’ve done it so well, Always.
I’ve also recently had the pandan basque cheesecake which was done really well. I have had this cheesecake elsewhere and the pandan flavor wasn’t good enough but Lovey does not have this problem. Perfectly...

We were exploring the city and I was trying to shortcut through a hidden lane to another destination, and we ran into this cafe instead.
We got the yuzu cake and pandan basque. For the drinks we got iced dirty matcha latte and iced taro coconut milk latte.
The cakes were very nicely done. The pandan is verrrry subtle but that’s the flavour’s fault. The basque that came with it was very smooth and the coconut crisps on top does help bring out the pandan more. Overall, it’s the more decadent cake considering it’s mostly cheese, it’s hard to finish it all by oneself.
I chose the yuzu one and it’s much more refreshing. There was at least one and a half mandarins in the cake, and the sponge cake itself was also drenched in a syrup so its more moist. It’s clean, fruity, not too sweet.
The drinks were also stellar. The dirty matcha was plenty bitter and refreshing, perfect palette cleanser for all the sweet stuff. The taro latte on the other hand is overall sweeter and again more indulgent, but it’s super rich. The first thing you get is the coconut milk, then super high concentration of taro and its unique fragrance.
Everything was super nice and we will definitely...

Tried the Earl Grey Matcha Latte Cream and I’m still thinking about it 🫶 The matcha wasn’t too strong, just the right balance with the floral hint of earl grey. Creamy, layered, and beautiful to look at too. It’s the kind of drink that feels like a gentle hug—light, refreshing, and comforting at the same time. The café itself is super cute, and I loved the glassware and chill vibe. A perfect stop for matcha girls and anyone who wants something aesthetic and calming.
