Went for brunch and was truly disappointed in the food, considering how good the reviews seem so far. Firstly, the order process was very unfriendly toward solo diner. My original table was occupied by other people after ordering at the counter, so I was switched to another table and double checked with the staffs that my order would be delivered to the new one. However, they still delivered to the old table and the people were confused at placed my dish on another empty table. I had to talk to the staff who merely responded coldly “I will look into it.” Then, the staff took the dish back to the kitchen and deliver the same one to my table without explanations.

Secondly, the food was inedible. It looked great on the surface, but once I started eating the meat was burnt, bitter and rubbery. It tasted like it was left cooking for way too long! The bread was soaked from the extremely greasy bacon. Everything on the plate was oily and salty.

The coffee was okay. The FOH didn’t really explain what’s the differences between glass or mug, and was charged one dollar for having coffee in mug.

Overall, a very disappointing experience and probably just a place for tourists...

It’s nice place to get your breakfast. Overall the food it’s good but the hashbrown over cooked. And also affordable price. This is one of my fav place to have a breakkie. (OLD REVIEW)

So, today I have a bad experience with the meals. Basically I paid $83 for 2 break breakkie xtra hashbrown and mushroom, 2 OJs and Caesar salad with xtra chicken. Literally it’s not worth it at all! All the hashbrowns, bacons, tomato even eggs burn! The Hashbrown is so tiny. And i pay xtra hashbrown for $4 with a tiny hashbrowns. In my caesar salad, have burn bacons, chicken with 6/7 pcs only. Last thing is OJs, 1/4 froth also 1/4 ice!! Im really pretty disappointed with this i thought from previous meal its pretty good, but today everthing i ate is burn! My partner and I will never comeback here again!!...

Not worth the hype.. I have ordered a large coffee on a non market day where most of the shops were closed and this was open around 8:30.. If you pay with card you will have to pay extra ~1.3$ for a large coffee..The staffs don’t communicate or coordinate properly . They won’t serve first come first serve.. so I have had to wait for 20 minutes for a coffee to go after the order but they serve to different customers after me and the seated customers in between.. they don’t have any idea who ordered the coffees. At least they should start writing the name on the cup to serve easily. Finally I have got almost a cold coffee….They are running this café with overly tired and depressed students not with properly trained Baristas..If you need Better Coffee, you have plenty of other options...

The atmosphere at this place is cosy and intimate, though be prepared for limited seating. My husband went with the lobster and prawn Benedict. While the lobster and prawn were flavorful with the combination of hollandaise, the bun was, unfortunately, a bit dry, which made the dish a little less enjoyable than it could've been. On the other hand, I ordered the classic egg Benedict with sourdough. The source dough was over toasted, and everything else about the dish was great. The kids had waffles, which felt like they were out of the packet, garnished with fruit- which was a hit with the kids. Overall, the food had some hits and misses, but the environment was warm and welcoming. I'd say if you want to get out of the cold, and you're lucky to get a seat, it's not a bad place to go to.
