My absolute favourite sandwich shop! And not just for convenience from school, the sandwiches and wraps are always well prepared with fresh ingredients and are made quickly and efficiently. The staff are lovely and treat every customer with kindness and respect, I have heard from several fellow regulars that the staff have even memorised their orders. The food is priced fairly and cheaper than what you’d get at a cafe in the same area, the drinks are a little expensive however this isn’t much of a drawback. The shop is also well decorated and stocks a wide range of other products. It’s truly amazing going to Frank’s and knowing just how long it’s remained in business, Frank Newberry’s legacy is being done justice, and I just hope that future Cooks Hill Campus students, Newcastle Permanent staff and Tradies alike will get to experience it in the...

I use to live in Cooks Hill when I was a teenager & use to frequent this shop, as it was our local General Store but more so for their very yummy sandwiches & rolls + the very friendly service.

On Monday, I was in town & in a nostalgic mood. So I called in, I was so happy to see that Jen was still there. This lovely Lady use to make my Rolls over 30 years ago. Absolutely lovely food and sandwiches,always fast,and very friendly..i love looking at the displays they have while i wait they are amazing,i highly recommended this place..and thank you for having such a great easy shop for me to get a simple samdwich as its so hard these days...
