We have been regular customers at Mitran Da Dhaba in Bella Vista, making it our go-to spot for morning breakfasts, enjoying the delicacies from their à la carte menu, or savoring their delicious thalis. Today, we decided to visit the newly opened Mitran Da Dhaba at Harris Park.

Having already experienced their food truck, we had high expectations, and they did not disappoint. The food, as always, was super delicious, making for a great dining experience. Each dish was expertly prepared and bursting with authentic flavors that transported us straight to North India. The presentation was also impressive, reflecting the restaurant's attention to detail.

My daughter absolutely loved their paneer makhani, and today, we enjoyed two vegetarian thalis and tawa aloo chaat tikki. The flavors were just as spectacular as those at the Bella Vista location.

I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic Indian dining experience with excellent service. If you're in the mood for North Indian cuisine that will make you feel like you're dining at a dhaba in North India, look no further! Mitran Da Dhaba has done an excellent job bringing these delicious flavors and the authentic dhaba experience to...

After a scenic River Cat ferry ride from Circular Quay to Parramatta and a stroll through the evolving Parra streets, we were ready for a good Indian feed.

Mitran Da Dhaba offers a casual, dining experience. The interior is simple and welcoming with authentic Indian beats playing in the background.

There were four of us, and we decided to share.

Full Tandoori Chicken: The chicken was perfectly cooked with the classic smoky, charred flavour that defines a good tandoori dish. While the spices were spot-on and the chicken tender, we all agreed it was slightly over-salted. Overall, still enjoyable.

Thali (Non Veg) We split two non-veg thalis between the four of us. A limited selection of meat. Both curries were chicken. The thali was rich and flavourful.

Lamb or beef or goat would have as an option made it better

We paired our meal with Kingfisher beer on tap, which was a refreshing choice.

The service was efficient and friendly. The meal overall was enjoyable, and the relaxed, authentic atmosphere made it a pleasant place to sit and enjoy a hearty Indian meal. The thalis were a good choice for sharing, though if you're looking for something more spectacular, individual dishes might offer a bit more...

Mitran Da Dhaba in Harris is known for offering a warm, inviting atmosphere with a strong focus on authentic Indian cuisine, particularly its renowned thali offerings. Customers often rave about the generous portions, vibrant flavors, and the homestyle touch in every dish.

The thali is a standout, offering a well-rounded sampling of various Indian dishes that are rich in taste, yet balanced. The assortment usually includes a variety of dals, curries, sabzis (vegetable dishes), roti, rice, and a sweet treat to end the meal, giving diners a comprehensive experience of Indian comfort food. The ingredients are typically fresh, and the flavors are bold, but not overwhelming.

Service is frequently praised for being friendly and efficient, with the staff making an effort to ensure a pleasant dining experience. The staff is often described as attentive, and the atmosphere of the place, while casual, is always welcoming.

Overall, Mitran Da Dhaba in Harris stands out for its combination of hearty, flavorful food, particularly the thali, and its excellent customer service, making it a popular choice for anyone craving traditional Indian flavors. Huge thanks to all team for...

Visited Mitran Da Dhaba with high hopes as a proud Punjabi craving some authentic desi flavours 🍛. The restaurant looks great and has a nice desi vibe it’s spacious, loud, and full of life. We ordered the Sarson Da Saag, and my friend went for one of their lunch thalis. Being Punjabi myself, I had high expectations for the saag… but honestly, it was disappointing 😕. It lacked that earthy, homemade touch you expect with a dish like this, the flavor felt flat and a bit rushed. On the bright side, the thali had a much better selection nicely balanced and looked fresh. If I go again, I might stick to the thali options instead. The service, unfortunately, didn’t help the experience either. The place was super busy, but there were only two staff members running the whole floor 😬. They were clearly trying their best, but that’s just not enough staff for such a large restaurant. Waiting time for food and attention was too long 🕒. Would love to see some improvements, especially in the authenticity of flavors and service management. Mitran Da Dhaba has potential, but right now, it feels like it’s missing the soul of real Punjabi hospitality.
