My partner and I have been long time customers and our family have been supportive of you guys for a decade. But, over the past 12 months you’ve lost your way.. Firstly, the quality has slowly worsened and in some ways it’s live you’ve cheapened out. Secondly, when we dine in every month or so it’s always a let down, the menu has reduced time and time again, you can’t do half half, the size of the pizza’s change, every time there’s something new the somewhat sassy staff have to explain. For example, I took a friend recently and talked it up prior, but first thing we get welcomed with “we’re no longer BYO”, then once the food came out it was honestly shocking, “Pickles” that were not pickles, imported from the Soviet Union 40 year old stockpile, not to mention the other shockers that followed, frozen food. Then 9pm we ask for the dessert menu but low and behold the kitchen was closed (9pm on a Saturday night...), bizarre. I spoke with friends about this and they have had similar experiences so I see this as an opportunity to put the purpose back in the business, it’s crust, not a Nobu.. it really isn’t hard, these are all decisions made over time that can be easily reversed and resolved, particularly if you want to keep loyal customers in such a competitive area. I don’t do this often so I hope this isn’t new news to you guys, just loyal customers who...
Read moreThis place is a terrible establishment. I was apart of a group that dined here and the way that the wait staff were being spoken to by the two managers (I could only assume) is downright disgusting. Just because you’re in a position of leadership does not give you the right to blatantly disrespect your staff in front of customers, at all for that fact.
Not only was the above a massive disappointment, the food definitely is not worth the price. The chilli prawn linguini was possibly the worst pasta dish I have eaten at a restaurant. From the flavour to the portion size. It was bland to the extent that I was positive they had just boiled packet pasta and thrown it together with a tiny bit of olive oil and a spider monkeys handful of school prawns, that were no doubt frozen; there was no chilli, not even a hint of garlic. They have the audacity to charge $30 for a bowl of service station quality food.
If you want to go out for a night with family and friends, stay away from crust cronulla. You’ll get a better experience waiting 30 minutes for a cheese burger at the...
Read moreWe have ordered from here many times before and I simply liked it less and less but my partner quite likes it, so i tolerate it. On Friday night, we took a chance to try it again and it was a disaster. It took 2.5hrs for the pizza to be delivered and not single update until 5 mins before it arrived. Not great when your starving and have a hungry kid. During that time not only did our child go to bed, we had to order from another pizza place, (Manoosh incase you were wondering) and it came in no time and was bloody delicious!
Why is crust Cronulla below average you may ask?
It has to be Under new management.
So we went there to return the pizza (in full) and ask for a refund as we did not eat the pizza that took 2.5 hours. Apparently they got a new system! (not my problem) End of epic saga!
Disappointing stuff for one of Australias biggest chains.
Save yourself the disappointment there are so many other average pizza places that you would not have to wait this long for! This is the worst crust location ever...
