Iāve moved to Cronulla 2 months ago. So my every weekend morning ritual is to have a bathe on Blackwood beach and drink cap of coffee watching on ocean on Cronulla beach. Every time I grab the cap from different restaurants to find ideal cap. Today the dice was casted on Kafenio.
There is atmosphere restaurant in heart of Cronulla. The cap of coffee has deep taste. It is not sour or bitter. The water was pretty warm, milk is fine and it is pretty foamy. Staff are hilarious and friendly and plus very quick (only except old lady working as waiter never smiled). I donāt remember what I wait more then 2-3 minutes. This quickly became my go-to place after the team remembered my name, order, and made conversation with me daily. I moved over from the UK not knowing anyone in the area and, whilst my husband left for work early everyday, Kafenio quickly became my daily non-negotiable. But the older lady think her name is taz or tass WOW how has she not been reported for how she treats her young staff members. Each time I've visited I have witnessed her speak to a younger person horribly belittling them or having a go about something I just witness her do.
