I called them at 4:09pm on 19/2/23 to make a booking for 530pm on Saturday 25/2/23. I spoke with a friendly lady on the phone who took the booking. On the day of the booking, I arrived at approximately 4:30pm and I was greeted by a guy who said they didn't have a booking under my name or phone number. I explained that I had called to make a booking and he said 'If you had called, you would have been told that we have been booked out for weeks in advance.' It felt like he was accusing me of being untruthful. I showed him my phone record which showed that I had called them. Still, he said he was not able to assist. I thought that he was too young to have been dealing with this type of situation and that he should have referred it to a manager. Given that the restaurant was empty at this time, I felt that an appropriate resolution would have been to offer us a table for half an hour. This is the first time I've ever made a reservation and then told that it had not been made. I would suggest checking to find out who answered my call and accepted the booking so that she can be given re-training. Read moreyesterday we went to HITHAI for a fish cake take away and odered a coconut water for relaxing inside, as it got busier, we were asked to move our table to another seat coz we were take away customers. and the way we were asked to move our table was just just a bit rough. coz we did order a drink, even u want to ask for swap tables, wouldn't it be better to ask politely ? After that I agreed to move so, and then when our order was here, we were still having our drinks, the waiter tried to push me to pay before we finish our drink, it made us so embarrassed, and my gf said to him "can we pay after we finish our drinks?" So waiter knew he got into wrong people , TBH I Don't know about the food there, I was about to try, that is why we order the fish cake, but seems it is not a good one for people looking for respectful service, hope the manager can see what the young waiter...

Ordered chicken and eggplant with steamed rice – half way through my meal I noticed that my chicken pieces were stained with a blue ink. I asked the owner who asked the chef – the chef suggested to give me a refund as he was not sure why the chicken was blue. The owner refused as I had already eaten half the meal and argued that I should have complained before I began eating the meal which is absolutely ridiculous as I didn’t notice at first. They then tried to argue that the blue stain may have been caused by the wok – This is absolutely appalling customer service – would never recommend eating here.
