I had a very disappointing experience at this butcher. I asked for beef brisket for stewing, and the staff assured me that what they gave me was suitable. However, when I got home, I found that the meat was not proper brisket but mostly broken and messy pieces. On top of that, the weight was inaccurate. In the shop, it was shown as 1.302kg, but after removing the extra plastic wrap at home, the actual weight was only 1.275kg. I felt misled both in product quality and in weight. If you are looking for good quality brisket for cooking, I would not recommend this...

Went to buy beef mince the other day, asked for 2kgs. They went to the back and took a long time. After a while they came to the front and told me off saying that they don’t have enough mince and to tell them in advance. Which I thought was odd.

They only gave us 1.2kg.

Went home to portion it for my dog and discovered that they had hidden a large frozen piece of mince amongst scraps of other beef mince pieces which were grey and smelt sour. We ended up throwing it away.

Picked up a very tasty Wagyu steak and frozen beef brisket for a good price. They slice the brisket in store, very fatty and juicy.

The Wagyu steak was delicious. At a good price as well.
