Devu Cafe is definitely one of the cutest Vietnamese brunch cafes in Burwood 💜They serve a variety of Vietnamese desserts along with some Vietnamese traditional dishes 🇻🇳. The staff were super friendly and recommended some popular dishes for us ☕️ However, a lot of the dishes were sold out by the time we got there 🥺 Order: 🐰Bunny Play Together (Tofu in bunny shape, Pandan Cendor Jelly, Water chestnut pearls, Coconut sauce, Caramel flan, & Herbal Jelly) Starting with dessert, hands down was DELICIOUS and SUPER CUTE ❤️‍🔥. The different types of jellies were super addicting and refreshing ❄️. Definitely can see this as being popular for a hot day 🔥Would recommend at least trying this dessert once 🤤 🧀 Snow Cheese Fries (Cheddar Cheese Powder, Potato - option of sweet potato or fries) Honestly was so happy with this dish! The fries were so crispy and it was coated with so much cheesy goodness 🍟! Can’t really go wrong with this! 👏🏻 🍖 Korean Sausages, Fish balls, Mozzarella Sticks, Meat Wonton, Cucumber, & Spicy Mayonnaise Loved the wide variety of sides to choose from! Everything was so good and cooked to perfection.💕 Only thing for note could be to be more generous with the sauce as we finished it all half way through 😩 instagram; eatwith.nbs

A real desert place where you can grab great tasting vietnamese coffee and have the option of enjoying it in dessert form along with a range of vietnamese influenced desserts. The one I come back for is the frosty coffee - a coconut base with toasted coconut and a flan dropped into the cup, then you get a thick pour of frothy coffee onto it, combining your need to drink coffee and grab dessert into the one cup. There's other forms of coffee and tea and frappes but the menu is full of desserts to try which revolve around varies combinations of vietnamese fruit favourites and dessert staples like coconut, palm seeds, grass jelly, cendol, sago, red rubies, toasted coconut, coconut meat... great place to unwind after a meal and shoot the breeze over coffee and dessert. Seating is limited and can be fairly full on the weekend, but usually a decent chance of getting a small table though lately some folks have started trying to park there with their laptops which can slow things down for others

Finally tried this viral Vietnamese cafe in Burwood! ✨🫶 The menu does a modern take on some traditional Vietnamese desserts, drinks and street food. My favourites were: 🐰Bunny Play Together: This was too cute to eat 🥹 This dessert bowl had a mix of soft, chewy and slightly crunchy textures. The bunnies were made of bouncy tofu pudding! The toppings were pandan cendol jelly, water chestnut pearls, caramel flan and herbal jelly. It also comes with a cup of coconut milk to pour over. This seems to be a twist on Southern Vietnamese chè (dessert bowls), which are known for being sweeter and richer with more tropical flavours. 🥥 Coco Coffee: I’m waiting for coconut coffee to overtake matcha lattes as the newest food craze 😅 This is coconut water with coffee foam, coconut meat and homemade coconut jellies! The drink is lighter than other white coffees with a nutty undertone. The contrast between the clear and crispy coconut water with the frothy coffee foam was very refreshing.
